Had a pleasant stay. The hotel ameneties are at very good standards. Staff at restaurant are helpfull. However, Reception staff got confused about our half board booking and were decided to overcharge..!
All in all the hotel is in a quite area with good space and gardens. some noise from the Disco club was a bit annoying especialy if you are there to relax..! please ask for a room far out from the club.!

Food was excellent. would recommend.

Top Tip: If you are a fish lover, ask for the fish restaurant second street just past the magnificiant train station on the left. its simple and catered for most Moroccans to enjoy. Ask for fish tajine and you won't regret it.

How this is a 5 star hotel i will never know! The rooms have no tea making facilities and no iron, although the rooms are very nice and clean especially the bathroom. the breakfast buffet was very poor compared to a 4 star hotel i stayed in agadir. For lunch and dinner they mainly had an a la carte menu (it was stated they said they would have a buffet)...although the a la carte menu was at times better than the buffet. The swimming pools outside were isolated as not even one of them were heated, so the kids could not use the pool at all. The hotel staff were not very friendly or helpful, you felt guilty asking a simple question. There was absolutely no entertainment whatsoever, and this was during our stay at christmas. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to fork out a very expensive bill on your spa treatments.

Top Tip: To entertain the kids at night we used to hog all 3 computers in the computer room, which has free wifi. So they entertained themselves!!

Firstly, to start with the good points. The hotel was large, and well maintained. Nice luxurious room and bathroom, lobby and restaurant.
Here goes the negatives; the staff were quite abrupt, they don't really go out of their way to do much. The exchange office in reception is open till midnight and one member of staff told us it was closed at 10pm just because she fealt like it (i told the manager this and he was shocked and wanted to know her name). The food was just edible- dinner was basic like what you would make quickly at home. We were there for 6 days half board and buffet was only on for 2 days as it wasn't busy enough (we were not told about this). When there was no buffet it was a la carte but we could have as much as we liked. Though saying that there were only 2 vegetarian options... unless you're happy eating salad (which for this price we were not). Breakfast was grand and I would advise that instead of half board. Dinner is also up until 10.30pm but if any dishes finish before that then tough luck!!!!!!!!
The hotel is about 30min walk from DjamEl Fnaa so best to take a taxi which on meter will cost about 20DH (£1.80) Although its a nice walk to take atleast once as there are lots of nice cafe's, restaurants and shops en route. The bus station is also nearby so if you decide to take a bus to agadir then you can walk.
Staying on the 4th floor our room would get pretty warm in the night and although it was nice being in warmth it was difficult to sleep... low and behold our AC did not work. I called the engineer who told me that cold air does not work in winter and he opened the patio for me!
The hotel had a big pool but not heated so after mid oct its way too cold to go in there. Hotel has a SPA but you have to pay for everything inc the sauna which is about £15 for 30mins!

Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel.. purely because its a bit far out from the hustle and bustle unless you don't like that. Theres no fantastic view either-the best view being of poolside. The service is basic, I wouldnt call staff "friendly" they speak to you if they are spoken to. Also i wasn't at all impressed by the food and regret getting half board.

Top Tip: no beaches i'm afraid! Comptoir and sofitel are nice places to smoke "cheecha/sheesha" and nice bars although very expensive and posh! They are about 30mins walking distance or 20dh by taxi

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

For the price that we paid for this hotel, we thought it was great! There were 4 of us (all adults) in a 2 bed apartment, which was a really good size! It was close enough to the beach, approx 10 minute walk, close to shops, bars and restaurants and anything else that you might need.
