“ Es Saadi was excellent value for money. The rooms were a reasonable size, with plenty of room around the very large double bed, and additionally furnished with a small table and two comfortable chairs in which to relax and watch TV.

“ Just returned from 4 days at Es Saadi with my boyfriend. We thought the hotel, food, facilities and staff were all good and the area was perfect... Just a 20min stroll into the Medina and very close to some trendy restaurant/bars with excellent food if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the centre.

“ Rooms are quite well equiped very comfortable beds,Very good breakfast and the pool side cafe was nice with a good menu. The big dissapointment was the half board dinner in the main resturant food often cold and not cooked properly or atractivly presented....All of the staff were very kind and attentive and rather imbarresed by the standard of the food not even 3 star .

“ Very comfortable hotel, excellent facilities and located close (easy walking distance) to the (old) centre of Marrakech.

Top Tip:
Suggest you make up your mind what you want from visit to Marrakech before selecting hotel and hotel location. "Plusher" hotels (such as this one) were removed and discreetly isolated from the "full-on Moroccan experience" that would be available from the lower standard (but more atmospheric) "Riads" available in the old town - but the "full-on Moroccan experience" (persistent market traders, monkey handlers, snake charmers etc) can get a bit wearing after a time?
Weather-wise, late March - early April, proved an extremely agreeable time to visit (heating up nicely, May - Sept could be oppressively hot?) and fabulous light and colours from spring flowers / snow on mountains. Fabulous scenery on trips outside Marakech (Ourika valley, Ouzoud cascades and Ouarzuzate all recommended), but each entailed significant time in transport and difficult roads? Car hire and self-driving is not for the faint-hearted (incomplete english-script signage and maniacal driving mentality)?

“ Es Saadi was excellent value for money. The rooms were a reasonable size, with plenty of room around the very large double bed, and additionally furnished with a small table and two comfortable chairs in which to relax and watch TV. There was also a desk and chair and plenty of drawer and wardrobe space to accommodate clothes. The room was spotlessly clean and the room service was efficient without being intrusive. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Marrakech souk and other facilities but is located within the newer hotel district outside the medina. I would certainly return to the Es Saadi, if I could get it at the same price that we paid through Travel Republic, which was around £70 per day including a good buffet breakfast and local taxes. Absolutely satisfied with this hotel and the service provided.
“ Top Tip: There are several good restaurants close by but I wanted to watch the Barcelona v AC Milan match on the Tuesday night, so we went to the Extra Blatt Lounge, which is only about 100 meters from the hotel, where we had a simple meal and a bottle of decent local wine for around £50 including a generous tip. We had a great view of the match on a clear HD screen and my wife tolerated this brief intrusion into an otherwise football free vacation.
