the hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them.

Top Tip: although it says the hotel ia a ten minute walk away from the square... its more like 20mins but the walk takes you through the city walls which is a nice walk. or a short taxi ride away

There is a huge language barrier as the majority of staff only speak French with a little English. Breakfast is average, bar, restaurant and shop prices are very high. The gardens and pool area are lovely.

Check-in date:

I found the staff friendly and they always acknowledged my presence even in the corridors with a quick "Cava"?
The food was a bit on the strange side 'buffet style' - breakfast consisted of small sausages tasting of 'tikka' and potatoes being served? I relied on the toast, cereal and tea/coffee with sugary orange juice. At dinner I found the odd chewy piece if meat but a good selection of salads were on offer.
Beautiful pool area with complimentary mats and towels for the sun loungers complete with parasols. Poolside service was very good with food and drinks being served amongst the surrounding pleasant gardens.

One issue I was disappointed with on my arrival to my room I found a greasy dirty ring around the bath which I had to clean myself before getting in, and the front marble of the sink area was covered with drips and splatters. I found this contradictory as the maids were in every morning to empty the bins, make the bed and mop the floor.

Again, I found the maids very pleasant. The service overall was good!

Top Tip: I was a solo traveller in Marrakesh and was glad I had chosen this hotel and it's location. Situated a 15 minute walk from Gueliz (new town) and a good 20 minute walk in the opposite direction to the Medina and Souks. I could quite happily spend time in the hotel peacefully relaxing in the sun or choose to walk into the denser/busier areas. It's nice to have that option! It's a very cultural place and still very much built around the locals and not the tourists - the locals are very much in control. I found it hard to find somewhere to buy alcohol or even a small mini market. There was nothing, so I relied on the provisions from hotel. A bottle of wine costs around £11 from the bar to take to the room - they do offer olives too.

Benefit from these single assets in one of the most beautiful hotels of Marrakech totally renewed. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

The air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 111 rooms. The lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock portends remarkable luxury. The appointment has been influenced by Moroccan traditions, while service here is truly international. Facilities on offer include a currency exchange facility, a cafe, a hairdresser, a TV lounge, a restaurant, a public Internet connection, and room service. The tea room (Tisanerie) is elegantly decorated. Alternatively, guests may sample the culinary delights of the hotel in a relaxed atmosphere in the "Bahia" or ""BadII"" restaurants, with a blend of Eastern taste and French gastronomy. The restaurants offer everything necessary to satisfy a demanding gourmet diner. The "Chem'S" snack bar offers modern cuisine in good taste, Eastern and Italian food, and enjoy a comfortable position adjacent to the swimming pool. Here, guests may take in a light and quick meal. All areas of the hotel are accompanied by the sounds of piped music.

We found Ryad Mogador Opera, best hotel to stay in Marrakech, just 2 to 3 min walk to Train Station, easy excess to visit all attraction area. Hotel staff are very courtious, helpful, always smiling happy to help.
