The hotel was fine but not 5* the items that need addressing are
1) noise on late arrivals and not being ask to quite down.
2) phone not working properly'crackley
3) asking from room service menu and not understanding( cheese and ham samwich!)
4) AC very poor
5) no towels on arival
6) building noise on opersite building not all the time.
My sky bar very nice staff, and inside heated pool is great.

Top Tip:
Avoid the restaurant/cafe to the left of the hotel, it is a part of the of the hotel but service was poor, waited ages for our drink/food then a couple of locals come in and got nibbles and drink straight away, burger did arrive in the end but cold and pink inside.
We found just getting a local taxi too take you to two or three places and waiting out side worked great for us,

Great hotel and friendly staff, good breakfast and a relaxing pool area. A bar by the pool and another on the roof top. Big double rooms and power shower. Very close to the center of town, 10 mins walk from The Place (market)
Loved Marrakech - would highly recommend!

“ Sadly this hotel hassippled over the last year. It used to be my favourite hotel in Marrakech. For a 5 star hotel the bathroom and bedroom decor is looking a little jaded. The hotel and area is now very noisy at night - other hotel guests were really noisy and we complained 3 times but nothing was done about it by the reception staff. The hote l is located on what is now a very busy road and the local Jad Mahal nightclub guests depart incredibly noisily between 2am and 4am - shouting, tooting car horns, revving engines etc. This used to be a very well run and calming 5 star hotel. Sadly standards have slipped and the location is no longer peaceful . It is also surrounded by 2 major building projects sp there is constant building work during the day

“ The hotel was five star quality accommodation with a high standard of cleanliness, staff were friendly and polite and the American buffet breakfast was excellent. We would recommend it.
“ Top Tip: Restaurant prices vary greatly and you will need to pay premium prices for high quality Moroccan food.

“ This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

When coming to Marrakech Las Palmeras is like staying in a private paradise! This 5-star guesthouse benefits from a fantastic location on the Ouarzazate road of Marrakech. It is also conveniently situated a short 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. “ We arrived in the evening at this hotel, it was quite late but we were delighted to find that the restaraunt was open until 9pm every evening and we were able to enjoy a lovely meal after our long journey.
