“ We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but were shocked to be charged a hotel tax of a 100 dirham for 3 days when we thought all such payments would have been included in the holiday price
“ Top Tip: on leaving the hotel, turn right and walk to the end of the street and on to the main road (approx 300m) - cross over the main road and walk left to the nearest bus stop, get a No1 bus for 35 dirhams to the town centre. Journey takes about 10-15 mins or it's a very long walk

“ Unfortunately It was very hard to find we spent more than an hour trying to locate it, its tucked behind hotel Kenzi and Hotel Amine and there are no signs so ask around. Other than that I had a fantastic stay, gorgeous and clean room spacious and comfy bed. Staff are ok they cant really speak much English.
“ Top Tip: Jardin majorelle isnt far and McDonalds is also a short walk on the right on avenue Abdelkarim elkhattabi, Marjane supermarket is a short distance too. Fayrouz restaurant is one of the only decent places to eat with good prices.

“ Lovely Hotel, warm welcome and friendly and helpful staff throughout stay. Hotel was very quiet, would not say it was suitable for young children (not so much the hotel but Marrakech in general).
“ Top Tip: Nothing much around the area the hotel was situated.

“
It was adequate, the rooms were fine, but the service was terrible as was the breakfast. The pool was smaller than the pictures suggest and was packed full of sunloungers.
Bar food was awful too.
The staff (apart from 1) didn't know their surrounds and couldn't recommend where to go for food etc.
We had an issue with our Transfers, and the hotel wouldn't pass on the messages left to us, which meant we had to use their phones to chase a response etc. On checking out we were nearly not allowed to leave because we didn't have the correct change for our calls. We had enough money - just not the exact amount of change.
As mentioned - the rooms were big enough, were airconditioned (although we chose not use it) and relatively clean.
“
Top Tip:
Argan Restaurant in the Square had amazing tagines.
Le Jardin Majorelle (Yves St Laurent Garden) was a beautiful haven in the middle of the hustle and not far from the Imperial Plaza where we stayed.
Don't bother with the Government Shops (where you supposedly don't need to haggle - they still try to get you to haggle).
Try and insist on getting the taxi driver to put the meter on - it actually works out alot cheaper unless you're going on a really long journey.
Take some time out to people watch in a roof top cafe.
Check when Ramadan is. We got suckered into going during ramadan and this may have been the cause of some really ratty people.
Make time to head out to Atlas Mountains - they too are a haven and much cooler than Marrakech.
Savour the coffee and the dates. YUM.

“ This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

“ Love this hotel. Right in the centre of Gueliz (the new town in Marrakech), nice little pool, easy to reach the Medina by taxi (it should cost you around 15/20 MAD, easier if fewer people). The room is pretty basic, so don't expect anything near to luxury, but again its price is very reasonable.

“ I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.
