Starting with the good points;
-excellent wifi especially on the beautiful terrace
-The trrace had an amazing view of the Katoubia and you could sit there for hours just watching sunrise/sunset.
-Breakfast was continental but nice and filling with fresh orange juice again served on the terrace.
-hotel let us check in early (11am) instead of 2pm which was kind of them.
-5min walking dist from the main square and katoubia.
The negatives;
-The room is very basic with a small basic bathroom. No shampoo etc provided and only one towel between 2 people.
-there can be a lingering bad smell in some areas of the hotel and we must have been near the hotel sewage so it was pretty strong but we got used to it (!) as we were there onlt 2 nights.
- No elevators so wouldn't recommend to anyone in a wheelchair or unable to climb stairs. The workers will carry ur suitcases up and down but the silent code is to give a little "bakshish" to them to say thanks its like a morroccan custom.
-The bedsheets were not crisp clean so if your particular about cleanliness I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you're easy-going then you probably wont mind.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you're easy going. Definitely worth the money (you get what you pay for) and its VERY close to DjamElFnaa and the view from the terresse is great. You can hear the adhan (call to prayer) in your room which is absolutely beautiful. You can definitely sense more culture in this hotel than some of the really posh ones.
“ Top Tip: KFC is down the road! the main square is a 5min walk and katoubia is literally on your doorstep so amazing views and you can hear the Adhaan (calll to prayer 5 times a day which is beautiful.

“ whilst the decor may be a little tired we just adored this hotel. The staff without exception were friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the food isnt bad either. Location couldnt be better. Well worth money excellent value.
“ Top Tip: be polite and you'll have them eating out of your hjands.

“ Enjoyed my stay.. The staff were very friendly.. Breakfast is basic but the fresh orange juice provided is sooo tasty and delicious.. Lunch and dinner was also very delicious.. The hotel is in the centre of town near banks and restaurants and shops.. The hotel is in an ideal location.
“ Top Tip: You have to leave your key at reception if you want ur sheets and towels changed. Try the chicken tagine at the restaurant it was delicious.
