“ I was on holiday with my friend for a 'girlie' holidayand felt comfortable in the hotel at all times. The hotle was spotless and clean towels everyday. The only down side was the 'patio doors' didn't properly therefore we felt the room was always smelling of exhaust fumes. Also we didn't realise we had to pay tax payment for the duration of our stay albeit only 80 dirhams, but unesxected.

“ Top Tip: Good supermarket just across the road nd the coffee in the service station is excellent (again across the street)

Already stayed three nights, then spent a week in Agadir, so this was my return visit for three nights.
The staff were waiting for me with door key in hand, and big smiles all round.
Very hot, so aircon a must. Good lift -rare to find in Marrakech.
Enjoyed my stay. This will be my preferred hotel for exploring Marrakech.
If you want luxury there are many big hotels around.
but not many at a lower price that fill my requirements.
Clean, hot water, air con, good nights sleep, and pleasant staff.

I rate this hotel above Average because I have stayed at several of the smaller hotels in Marrakech. I watched this hotel being built 2/3 years ago. I enjoyed my stay because it feels new and clean. Most of all, the hotel staff were very kind and pleasant with me. Giving me a better room when the first was not suitable. The breakfast is the usual Moroccan -but in comparison to others --very good. Nice little pool on the roof.
For the price--difficult to find a better same rating hotel in Marrakech.
“
Top Tip:
Although this hotel in right on a busy roundabout-it beats many for the convenience--bus stop opposite--direct to the main square very cheap( finish 22.00hr)-taxis can be rude and demand excessive amounts of money form tourists---so much more pleasant experience on the bus.
Excellent cafe la flame -opp corner.
Main supermarket in view of hotel balcony. Petrol station all night snacks etc. Just around the rear of the hotel are many Moroccan restaurants. With tables chairs outside.
These are all good cheap food-the larger more recently decorated restaurant being the best.

“ Love this hotel. Right in the centre of Gueliz (the new town in Marrakech), nice little pool, easy to reach the Medina by taxi (it should cost you around 15/20 MAD, easier if fewer people). The room is pretty basic, so don't expect anything near to luxury, but again its price is very reasonable.

“ I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.

Good value 3 star hotel right next to the old Medina and overlooking the Atlas mountains. One of the best locations in the city for exploring the sights. The hotel has 165 comfortable rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and safety deposit boxes. All have full en suite bathrooms and most have balconies. Room service is available until midnight. There is a restaurant that serves daily specials and Moroccan cuisine. Half board is available (breakfast is buffet and dinner is usually waiter service). There is a comfortable lounge and a snack bar (alchohol is not served in the hotel).
“ 1.I found the hotel staff feindly and helpful and they spoke good english. 2.Breakfast very basic 3.I had a single room with balcony at front of hotel, it was noisey when the windows were open but i wanted this so i could see all the hustle.

Located in the very center of Marrakesh, on one of its most beautiful avenues, amalay is 10 minutes from the illustrious Jamaa El Fna square and its markets. Entirely air conditioned, it consists of 40 well equipped rooms, with bath, television, telephone and loggia. At the ground floor, you will have the pleasure of discovering a Moroccan sitting room, a bar as well as 2 restaurants where you will have the occasion to savour the delicacy of Moroccan and international specialties.
“ This hotel is in a very good position, close to the bus stops and handy for the train station but it doesnt feel too friendly. The breakfast is only a croissant and a cob, where some hotels have a buffet with lots of choice, if you ask for anything else, you get a disapproving look and its not available.
