The exterior fronting out onto the busy main Mohammed V thoroughfare hides a little oasis of calm and tranquility. Reception area is compact and the staff very friendly and eager to help. Rooms, quite spacious (beds, coffee table, two lounge chairs, ample wardrobe space) are well decorated and functional. Bathrooms are also spacious and finished in polished stone. On the first floor you can find the 'English Pub' although the only thing really English about it is the football on the plasma TV. That said however, very friendly and three areas to choose from to sit and eitehr watch the football or listen to the music. There is a small terrace and what I would call a small plunge pool, but still big and deep enough for a swim on a hot and hunmid day.

Top Tip: There are too many restaurants and bars within minutes of walking to name. Whether you turn left or right out of the hotel there are also ample shops. The main square is a brisk thirty minute walk from the hotel going straight down the main avenue, although there are plenty of buses.

Hotel very comfortable, rooms spacious and clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast continental but adequate

Top Tip: Grand Cafe de la Poste a must to visit. Very colonial and great atmosphere. Also serves alcohol which many cafes don't (if you're in sight of a mosque) Taxi trip to the big square - Jema de Fna - about 4mins and 20 DHM - £1.60

The hotel lived up to expectations and was as described. It was very clean & comfortable and the staff most helpful. It was in an idael location in the new town but within walking distance of the original heart of the place, the Medina & souk.

Top Tip: The trip to the high Atlas mountains was great

Really enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely, well informed and really helpful but not intrusive. For example: We arrived late because of the snow in Manchester and food had finished being served. The doorman walked us to a lovely clean and reasonably priced restaurant within the locality where we enjoyed a good meal. On another occasion we asked if we could invite a guest to dinner, not only was this no problem but the chef also served us our favourite tangine and made it look like a gourmet dish. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented at all times.

Top Tip: The tourist information centre in Marrakech is about 100m away. Come out of the hotel and turn left. Also the Marrakech tourist bus sets off from here too. You can choose from two tours. There is an Oasis tour and an Historical one. you can do both tours for the one price. The Majorelle Gardens is a twenty minute walk from the hotel in one direction and ten minutes walk from the beautiful new railway station in another. The hotel is conveniently located for all manner of shops and there is a local supermarket five minutes walk away.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

At the heart of the Hivernage, a modern hub neighborhood in the City of Imperial Marrakesh, just few minutes away from “Jemaa el-Fnaa square” and from downtown, Hivernage Hotel & Spa is also the starting point for walks and visits in Marrakesh and its surroundings. Intimate and friendly, the hotel attracts both business travelers as well as tourists attracted by the availability of staff for personalized care, the serenity and comfort of its 85 rooms with warmer tones. The restaurant services signed by Christophe Leroy of La Table du Marche, the Bar and the lobby with a cozy atmosphere, the Fitness Center & SPA by Hivernage, MySky, the lounge and the multi-purpose room located at 7th floor of the hotel are all substantial assets that make of the hotel an unquestionably place of unique charm.

Customer rating from 14 reviews: 7.3 Good

When coming to Marrakech Las Palmeras is like staying in a private paradise! This 5-star guesthouse benefits from a fantastic location on the Ouarzazate road of Marrakech. It is also conveniently situated a short 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. Guests will love the hotel's bedrooms all in a different theme either of the “thousand and one nights or with beautiful colors surrounding the Moroccan lounge in some rooms, which are all of a good size and decorated in a traditional and comfortable style. They will also enjoy relaxing around the outdoor swimming pool on a lounge chair and if they feel like getting into the Moroccan traditions, the Moroccan lounge will be just the perfect spot to have a home made mint tea, a refreshing drink or a snack in the evening

It was an absolutely excellent and well run efficient place. I would go back again and again. Reccommended
