“ Riad 58 Blu is a wonderful place to stay. A peaceful retreat yet still near to the busy square which is only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is impeccably clean thanks to the 2 very hard working girls there. The staff are extremely helpful and always happy to show you the best places to visit. Smile even walked us to a nearby hammam late one evening. We were only there for 3 nights, but I can imagine breakfast may get a little predictable shortly after that!
“ Top Tip: The trip up to the Atlas mountains was wonderful but be prepared for a steep and dangerous climb if going up to the waterfalls. Health and safty does not really feature...not that you wold really expect it to! Also keep plenty of small change as everyone needs to be shown thanks for everything they do!!

“ Fantastic hotel, great and friendly and attentive staff. Excellent manager who couldnt do enough for us; recommendations of venues, restaurants, trips, everything. Great breakfast, great roof terrace, great rooms. Small and intimate hotel. Short walk to all the action in Marrakech. brilliant place. thoroughly recommended.
“ Top Tip: Lots of great restaurants to suit any budget. Ask Mohammed the manager for a recommendation. Le COmptior in the new town - quite expensive but great international venue and bar and belly dancers. The Tanjia in the medina - very nice and belly dancers and wine. The roofgarden, the terrace des epiciers, all great.

“ excellent small riad hotel with trouble free personal service from friendly staff. very good half board food. about 10 minutes stroll from centre of the medina. plenty of good advice about where to go/what to see from staff.
“ Top Tip: take a good travel guide book. take hotel staff advice until you get your bearings. dont listen to locals who tell you the road is closed( or is a mosque and you cant go). they will take you off on a different route and expect money!

We stayed at this lovely Riad for our 3 night flying stay in Marrakech. We made our decision to stay at Riad Blue 58 purely on the reviews on this site and can honestly say there was nothing to dissapoint.
We were picked up at the airport by prior email to the Riad, at no extra cost to our stay by our taxi driver who was waiting with the Hotel name on a board and with a very short transfer through the bustling streets, we arrived at our Hotel.
As mentioned in previous reviews due the lateness of arriving, we were chaperoned to a restaurant, which upon us checking our guide book, was a highly recommended one.
We chose to visit the Atlas mountains with our same taxi driver that picked us up for a fixed price. He obviously has set places to stop off but I did not see this as a money making scheme, but helping the Community and hopefully put a bit back into the local area, there was never any obligation to purchase, or to tip, it is the choice of the individual.
On a whole, the breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble, the Riad was spotless and the two girls cleaning worked tirelessly throughout the day.
Our only extra tip, for those who like a tipple was we took a bottle of spirits and bought coke from the little corner shop and sat up on the roof terrace,whilst the sun set taking in the roof top view - heavan!!

This air-conditioned hotel comprises 16 comfortable rooms, equipped with the main necessities. There is a lobby with a 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe, a cafe, a restaurant and room and laundry services. The hotel also has a bar, an ultra-modern TV in the living room and a traditional Moroccan Hammam. The hotel has a vast flowered terrace with a magnificent view of the Atlas Mountains and the Medina.
“ The quality and size of the rooms are variable, they are acceptable none are plush, there again we did not pay 5 star prices. The staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble.

Riad Dar Alhambra is a unique Moroccan guest house ideally suited for families or friends wishing to have the house to themselves! Nestled in the heart of Marrakech in the old medina, next door to the Medersa Ben Youssef and the Marrakesh museum, three minutes from the souks and eight minutes walk from the Jemaa El Fnaa square, the Riad Alhambra is in a great location. Dating from the 16th century the Riad Alhambra has been lovingly and discreetly restored in pure Moroccan tradition. Life revolves around the cool, marble floored patio with an antique fountain in its centre and next to the patio are two delightful 'B'hou' (small, open sitting-rooms), and the traditional, sumptuously decorated Moroccan drawing-room. The rooftop terrace offers splendid views of the Koutoubia, the high Atlas Mountains, and superb sunsets - great for privileged dining and sun bathing! This could be a holiday to remember - book into the Riad Alhambra now.
“ If you are staying in Marrakech then a Riad is really what you should stay in; they are all converted from old houses built round a central courtyard and are in the medina or old town and if you are staying in a riad then I don't believe you could find a more perfect one than the Alhambra.

“ We arrived at the Riad Armelle at about 8.30 pm and were too late for dinner, we were shown our room which was lovely, very clean and a very comfortable bed, our chef booked us into another hotel for dinner and we were kindly taken there and brought back to the Riad afterwards.
