This riad, recently renovated in a traditional way with tadelakt and different nuances in every room, mixes comfort and modernity. A flowered patio, with banana trees, a fountain with rose petal perfume, followed by a massage cabin next to a pond, giving quietness, relax and freshness. A typical Moroccan lounge and a dining room to discover the subtle spices in lots of typical Moroccan dishes (Méchoui, tanjia marrakechia, pastille, m’semmen or beghrir and harcha…)

The riad was a fair distance into the medina. The manager walked us through the narrow alleys to the main square, pointing out the landmarks to help us find our way. The riad was spotlessly clean. The owners/managers did not live on-site and we were left to lock/unlock the riad. We were the only guests on two nights.
It was ideal for more confident travellers who wanted a genuine riad experience.
“ Top Tip: Approx 30 mins walk to the main square in Marrakesh. We loved visiting La Mamounia, where Churchill stayed. They have a strict dress code though, no shorts or sandals.

“ the host and manager will very friendly and helpful. The maid was very pleasnt and ameanble. Only problem was language barrier but you work thorugh that! Need to learn French before I go again
