“ The staff were very friendly and attentive. Quiet establishment suitable for relaxing break. Meals in were not cheap, but of excellent quality.
“ Top Tip: Make sure you know exactly where the Riadh is when you go out walking around. Every street looks the same and you WILL get lost! Alcohol, where available, is very expensive - take your own discreet supply if you can!

We stayed at the Riad Lotus Perle near the old town. The riad is situation in a small road from Dar El Bacha leading into another alley, one wouldnt know something so beautiful lies behind those doors.
We were upgraded to the Coco Channel Room, which was the superior room. The room was designed with luxury interiors and warm colors. The Riad itself was overflowing with style and warmth. The Web site has pictures and information and the pictures are exactly what the Riad and Rooms look like.
It was 10 minutes to the main square, which came in very handy. We had breakfast on the terrace and sometimes buy the pool. Since there were only 5 rooms, you only ever get 5 couples, so its very private and calm. There is no such time for meals. You can have breakfast anytime you like. The mini bar in the room was a bit pricy...
Very highly recommended. Great service, exceptional staff and luxury living. Really Relaxing and breathtaking.

Loads of Banks, local shops, pharmacies near the Riad. 10 mins walk to Jema El Fna Sq.
Mellah - the best place/area to buy lamps. Much cheaper than the souks and square shops.
Taxi's will never put on the meter for tourists. You must bargain a price all your Taxi rides before you get in. Start half way or just under their price.. It usually works.
Dyers District - the most smelly place you have encountered in your life. This is where the leather is prepared for bags and purses and other accessories. Short tour...but one you wouldnt forget.
Beware of the henna artisits on the square. Before you know it you have a design on your arm and then you're expected to pay.
Visit the Ouzzad Falls. It is amazing. Take trainers, the trek is long. the water is very cold..but after the hot sun on your back for a couple of hours..it feels good. No place to change there, so wear your swim suit over your clothes. Take a towel.
Generally bargain for everything. The price can be marked up as high as 10 times.
