“ The quality of this hotel is second to none. Clean , excellent service and beautifully decorated. The staff could not do enough for you. The only critism would be the limited menu, but then there are plenty of places to eat in Marrakesh if you're adventurous.
“ Top Tip: You can't top the entertainment of the Jemaa el Fna Square, jaw dropping. Just five minutes walk away, and boy what a walk.

Beautiful hotel with a fab roof terrace. Small rooms but comfy beds. Nice food, if you chose to stay in. Meagre breakfast - but very helpful staff. Tiny bath but very welcome! Luckily a heater in the room - as evening in Feb were freezing!
lots of stairs and low height ceilings.
Served wine and beer!!!!!! Yippeee!!!!
Be aware that in the medina there is no alcohol served - and we only found a couple of places that served wine

We arrived at night and were dropped off by the taxi at the end of a dark and dirty alleyway. With trepidation we followed the alleyway around a few dark twist and turns until eventually we were presented with a door in the wall with a brass plaque with the Riad's name upon it - Not a great experience so far...
...Then we entered the Riad and everything changed - Beautiful ornate surroundings, very welcoming (given Mint Tea and cake before we had even had chance to check-in) and nothing too much trouble - Basically the Palais Seban is a haven in the middle of utter bedlam, and is ideally located for the Medina (5 mins from main square), but also not too far from the restaurant area of the New Town.
All in all we had a great time; Marrakech is an experience like no other and the Riad is ideally located and absolutely beautiful...

Top Tip:
Arrange a transfer from the airport direct with the hotel - They are more than happy to help and it removes the worry of finding the Riad in the maze of the Medina.
Other than that keep your wits about you when walking around Marrakech, particularly in the Souks, around the main square and out towards the Tanneriees as everyone wants your money (and lots of it) and they can be quite aggressive.
