Service not the greatest. Beware the following:
1/ booking Triple room - you get 2 double beds and a small pull out third and it wasn't ready on arrival so we had to continually ask for the third bed.
2/cost of evening buffet which was extortionate for the quality of food on offer.
3/ advice on cost of taxis / trips - always quoted hotel price which is sometimes double elsewhere.
Read somewhere that the cleaners were suspect. Not in our opinion - they were by far the most efficient of the staff on offer and no indication that valuables were at risk.
Good points - large pool, plenty of space and sunbeds. Breakfast - good choice and cater for most needs. Wifi available in lobby but not in rooms unless you have a cable.
Hotel a little out of Marrakech so involves the daily haggling of taxi prices which becomes somewhat tiring.

Top Tip:
On your first night go to Alkmazaar shopping centre just up the road for a good meal at half the price instead of taking the hotel option.
Don't take the hotel taxis (it can cost you up to £10 to town). Just walk to the main road, hail down a taxi (cheapest was £1.70, but generally between £2-3)

“ This hotel is a 5min taxi drive to the medina/souks/djema el fna. Hotel room was very spacious and hotel staff were happy to give me a room with a pool view and late checkout complimentary. Hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool. Hotel staff are very friendly. The alcazar shopping mall is a five min walk from the hotel it has a good food court with a dominos and other eateries also has a supermarket where you can get drinks and groceries. Defo will stay here again if I return to marrkech. Breakfast was basic with fresh orange juice. Fruits croissants etc

“ Hotel better than the actual service. A lot of confusion over a number of problems.
“ Top Tip: Shopping centre just five minutes walk away with many shops and restaurants and also a childrens indoor play area. Large supermarket is on the ground floor of shopping centre.

“ I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.

“ Starting with the good points; -excellent wifi especially on the beautiful terrace -The trrace had an amazing view of the Katoubia and you could sit there for hours just watching sunrise/sunset. -Breakfast was continental but nice and filling with fresh orange juice again served on the terrace.

This Riad Amira is situated in the Kasbah near the Saadian Tombs, in the Old part of the city, known as La Medina. There is car access close to the Saadian Tombs. Being on the old part of the city, it is close to all main tourist attractions that have made Marrakech such an interesting city. This Riad has 6 rooms, all unique, with a trendy style and full of conform. Really stylish product. The rooms have a comfortable size as well as the bathrooms. The bathrooms are normally with shower and not bath tub. The exterior looks like a normal house of La Medina as many other riads. The travellers cannot really see the nice style inside. There is a terrace on the top where to enjoy stunning views of Marrakech. Riad Amira is comprised of 6 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms constructed in traditional Moroccan taddelakt. All rooms are decorated with noble and luxurious materials. The central patio is planted with trees and there is a lovely swimming pool. The rooftop terrace has been converted into a solarium...
“ We have just returned from a 3 night break at the Riad Amira. The Riad is incredible....very welcoming and despite the staff speaking very little English, our French got us through! On arriving at the Kasbah, our taxi dropped us off and we were shown to the Riad by one of the locals.
