When we pulled up outside the hotel it looked very impressive, the room had a nice balcony with a view over the pool. Although for a 5 star hotel it was a little disappointing, the bathroom suite was of poor quality and you had to run the hot tap for about ten minutes before it actually got hot.
The tv only had a few channels which were all in French so that wasn't an option on a rainy day.
The maid service was good, nice to come back to a well made bed and tidy bathroom.
We opted for bed and breakfast, but were disappointed again to find that every day was pretty much the same thing, and that wasn't very impressive.
There were some really sunny days so we decided to sunbathe by the pool, the pool bar was never open so we had no way of having a drink without having to go and buy it from the shops which was inconvenient.
We were totally exhausted by the time we left the hotel to return home as a nightclub at the rear of the hotel was open every night and could be heard very clearly from our room.
We would not return to this hotel.
“ Top Tip: As you come out of the hotel turn right and head up the road, on the left hand side is a bar/restaurant called Dar6, very nice staff and good food, and alcohol if you sit inside!

Dreadfull. This is not even close to 5 * hotel. Wouldnt even give 2*.
Everything old and faling apart. Pool has maybe 20 loungers but hotel has about 500 rooms and more, so you have to get up at 6am to get a space. Pool is also far too small for so big hotel. Reception dark and horrible leather seats. The picture for this hotel on this website is misleading as reception is nothing like it. Air con makes terrible noise and is about 20 years old. Was waiting for hotel staff to come to our room to fix the safe it took 30 minutes and 5 calls.
Breakfast was so so bad. No choice at all. Bread tasted recycled. Coffee grose and waiters services awfull. You could pay me i wouldnt stay there again.
“ Top Tip: my top tip is do not book this hotel

The hotel was nicely situated being neither too far nor too close to the old part of the city.
The evening meal was Moroccan and plentiful though there was no alcohol in the hotel. The entertainment during dinner was interstingly local but slightly wearing after a week.
The bedrooms were cleaned each day and were large by European standards.
The pool was lovely.
The staff were very helpful.
“
Top Tip:
A hop on & off bus stop next to the hotel made travel very easy for the first couple of days whilst getting my bearings.
The trip to the Atlas mountains was good and worthwhile.
If I had stayed longer I would have hired a car to drive to the coast which was approx.2 hours away.

“ Top Tip: Good restaurants 500ms away- turn right out of hotel on the other side of the road. Two bars serving alcohol = £10 a pint though

“ This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.
