This is a great hotel with lovely refurbished rooms and a fabulous pool area. The concierge was amazing! He (and all of the staff to be fair) was so friendly and helpful - we got there on New Years Eve and didn't have a reservation so he recommended and booked a restaurant for us just off of the night market - I have to say it was fantastic! The building, the atmosphere (traditional musicians), the food and the price were unbelievable! Be sure to go hungry. I really can't say enough good things about the staff. Taxi's were constantly outside and were cheap. The door staff introduced us to an English speaking driver who took us on a personal tour of the city and all of the best spots for 6hrs at £15! He was again so friendly and nice, he gave us a recommendation for dinner and arranged for another driver to take us, wait outside and bring us back - all for £10! Overall fantastic service!

The breakfast was the only bad point. We didn't eat in the restaurant as there are so many great eateries in the centre which aren't far away.

Top Tip: We went to Al Baraka on New Years Eve and the food was great. We both ate until we couldn't move (literally) for £100 including wine. It included 4 huge tasty courses. It has entertainment and a really nice ambience.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel our first time in Morocco.
The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and management too.
I asked for a room with a balcony and they gave us a beautiful room with balcony overlooking a peaceful garden with pool.
The hotel is situated in the north of Marrakech, walking distance from the centre, and you can easily get a cheap taxi into town too.
I found it good to be out of the hustle and bustle of the centre of town at the end of the day.
Breakfast is fabulous, the restaurant perhaps little over rated.

Top Tip: If you are tried of Moroccan food try the Thai wok restaurants.
We used Holidays service for airport transfer and excursions I found them to be excellent on time, very good guides and comfortable transport.
They are very keen and clean.
Best day trip are the cascades at osoudes. Be sure to wear walking shoes.
you wont be disappointed.

We loved this hotel overall - it had such a lovely Moroccan feel, with a beautiful pool and garden area. Staff were helpful and always smiley. Also, they gave a good exchange rate for sterling, and there is an ATM in the hotel. However, there were just a few minuses. Firstly, we had booked a triple room and had specified as 3 over 50s that we they would be proper beds. When we arrived we had a put-u-up for the third one. It took 2 days and moving room to get three proper beds. Also, it seemed the housekeeping staff could not count to 3 as virtually every day we had to ask for an extra bath and hand towel and glass. It got to be a bit of a joke but was a bit annoying. Also, our patio on the ground floor was never swept and there was only one chair. It seemed quite random whether you got chairs on the balcony or not! Having said all this, we are hoping to go back to Marrakech next year and would stay at this hotel again.

Top Tip: The Grande Cafe a la Poste is very classy but not too expensive and only a 15 minute walk.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby, bar and restaurant are lovely but the real winning feature is the garden and pool area. It is stunning. Guests can lounge near the pool all day on sun loungers (I did this as it was warm even in January) with an endless supply of towels.

Moroccan House Hotel Marrakech is located in Marrakech's Hivernage neighborhood, close to Grand Poste Gueliz, Djemaa el Fna, and Palais des Congres. Nearby points of interest also include Majorelle Garden and Koutoubia Minaret. Dining options at Moroccan House Hotel Marrakech include 3 restaurants. Room service is available during limited hours. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a steam room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas.

I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.

An excellent B&B. Most definitely not a 4 star hotel. The people running it were very pleasant and helpful, but there is a bit of a language barrier as only the proprietor (Khalid) spoke any English at all.
