We did not go Meknes, I made changes to it the week before I left and paid the difference (you will see this on your records). I went to Marrakech instead. The hotel we booked was called Hotel Christina and the service was terrible.
Washing was not returned to us on time, receptionist didnt help us to look for the maid, we had to waste time running after them. We spent a whole morning doing this on our 2nd day, and time was limited for us as we were only there for 3 nights. There was not much choice in buffet at breakfast, which was a waste of money. It seemed like I was in a 2 star hotel. The exterior of the hotel looks very posh and welcoming, but when you go into the rooms, it was very different to what we expected. Alot of things needed fixing, very dusty and old. Maybe 15-20yrs ago it was nice, but not now. plz dont mislead anyone with the pictures!
“ Top Tip: I advise anyone travelling to Marrakech, to stay in a hotel near the Old Fez in walking distance. Catching taxi was very annoying, as most taxi drivers were to be found at a further walking distance from this hotel.
