Atlas Rif and Spa

“ A friend recommended this hotel to us, an excellent choice !
The location was central to the medina, souks and the new town, if you dont mind a bit of a walk.
The pool and garden area were beautiful to chill out in, with plenty of beds and towels available.
The staff were always very helpful and friendly. House keeping were super human, they were in and out of your room by the time you had returned from breakfast leaving everything immaculate and fully stocked.
The breakfast buffet had a great selection and served til 10:30, which is good when you dont wish to get up at the crack of dawn on your holidays.
I think the hotel could make their extensive services and amenities a bit clearer.
I was asked a couple of times by other guests where to find various things as they are not signed. Also there were no maps of the the area or hotel available.
My only real negative was the breakfast and dinner services.
There were plenty of willing and helpful staff but there didnt seem to be any organisation among them.
At breakfast the basic table requirements were always missing: cups, cutlery, coffee etc and on our last day I had to ask 4 times before we received everything we needed.
All in all though I would highly recommend this hotel, we had a great stay !

Cafe Libre (a little hard to find) - upstairs, very casual and relaxed, small but lovely menu, a selection of tapas available. Has a little library attached, many English books. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and sometimes live music. Great night !
Narwama - Thai - well signposted -beautiful dimly lit surroundings, inside with the outside courtyard feel - gorgeous food - expensive but worth it for the whole experience.
Bar L'escale - very male but you can get a beer - good service
Trattoria de Giancarlo - Lovely gardens outside, candlelit. Excellent pizza and pasta
