Check-in date:

Hotel was very dated but to be honest that was part of it's charm, however, the curtains hanging off he window was taking it a step too far !
On arrival the rooms weren't ready, so we placed our luggage in the unprepared room, there was no apologly offered from the staff.
Our stay was purely convenience, an overnight stay and easy access to the port.
The hotel was clean, basic and ticked he boxes for our needs. I would stay there again but only for one night.

Check-in date:

I have stayed in several different hotels in Tangier before but none of them were as pleasant as this one. staff are very friendly, and at the reception, they've done more than their best to sort out few bits and pieces for me.

The hotel has this not so old but historical feel to it, with pictures, décor, ornaments of the old Tangier everywhere. The hotel has a beautiful terrace which overlooks the Marina and the port of Tangier.

Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable (mine had an air-conditioning which was a plus! ). The only minus here was the missing mini-fridge.

Breakfast, well don't expect too much... After all, it's called Continental Hotel, which serves continental breakfast....

Top Tip: There are few local and very reasonable restaurants nearby, although it does get crowded in the surrounding streets (a great way to experience the culture and observe the locals). And if you are looking for the cultural feel of Tangier, whether it is people, houses, narrow streets, bazaars etc, then this hotel is perfect...

Check-in date:

We really enjoyed the charm of the Hotel Continental. It was a very interesting place to stay and we had a wonderful view of the port from our room and the terrace. Some people have descibed it as 'faded glory' and I can see where they got this, but our room had been totally refurbished - new bathroom, new beds, new wardrobe, settee and cutains. It was immaculate and as good as any room I've stayed in. The mosaics were wonderful, the staff friendly and the food good. I would recommend it to anyone who can climb a few stairs (no lift!)

Top Tip: The Cafe Panoramic at the other end of the bay - about a 45 minute walk along the front, was a great place to have lunch and had a fabulous view of the beach and the front.

Check-in date:

the hotel is beautiful!! the staffs were very friendly and helpful! if you want to stay in the old part of tangier this is the best hotel to stay in. breakfast was a little boring, but they have a great restaurant in the hotel that opens to the public. you can bring yourown wine to the hotel but they do not serve alcohol.

Top Tip: local beach was not good at all. if you want to go to a good beach you need to get a taxi. mirage is about 30 min by car from tangier center, its an excellent beach! you should try their night clubs if you'd like to dance- they play a good mix of arabic, french, and some top house music in some of the top night clubs. alcohol is expensive in tangier though. if you are s seafood lover, try to eat as much fish as you can when you are out there.
