“ Hotel Nadia was really nice to stay in, and a perfect location. Very near to Dam Square and other tourist locations! We were offered a drink upon arrival, and the service in general was very good. The only thing that I felt wouldn't be great for some people, are the steepness of the stairs up to reception.8.0 Great

“ For a 2* hotel this is a fantastic hotel! We got a welcome drink and the very kind staff carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival into our room we had a beautiful vase of flowers as a gift which was completely unexpected in a 2* hotel.8.0 Great

“ For a 2* hotel this is a fantastic hotel! We got a welcome drink and the very kind staff carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival into our room we had a beautiful vase of flowers as a gift which was completely unexpected in a 2* hotel. The room was a little small however had everything in it you needed a fridge, fan and a safe which was free of charge. The rooms were spotlessly clean and you could have housekeeping everyday if you wanted. The staff were very friendly and were there 24 hours a day. We requested a canal facing room which we got with a beautiful view. Dam square was a 5 minute walk away and there were many restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. There are 37 very steep stairs into the hotel so not suitable if you have mobility troubles otherwise a fantastic hotel and would defiantly return.
“ Top Tip: Panarama restaurant!

Nadia Hotel was in a great location right in the heart of Amsterdam surrounded by cafe's and restaurants, with a tram stop two seconds down the road, Ann Frank house just around the corner and Dam square within 10 minute walking distance.
The hotel staff were lovely, helping us with our bags up the stairs and then taking it to our room for us. We also got a free map of Amsterdam with suggestions of great places to go. Breakfast was nice, just your standard continental foods but it set us up well for the day.
Our room was small with a window looking out onto a tiny roof garden but this isn't really a complaint as we paid for what we got and there are bigger rooms with nicer views available. The shower was great working too, I've had less powerful showers in houses I've lived in!
I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone with a mobility impairment as there is a big flight of really steep stairs and no elevator but we just saw it as good exercise. We would definitely stay again!

As there is no lift, and there is at least one long flight of steep, narrow stairs before you get to most rooms, it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. The double room I stayed in was very small, but reasonably comfortable. The hotel is quiet and secure as there is always someone on reception to see who is entering and to buzz you in 24/7. It is on a busy road, but my room was at the back, so very quiet.
It is basic, but friendly, and all staff are very helpful. There is a nice breakfast room which overlooks a canal and the Westerkirk church. It is almost within sight of the Anne Frank house. It is right in the heart of the canal area, but very close to amenities/tour offices etc.
I enjoyed my stay there.
“ Top Tip: Just a block or so from the hotel I found a restaurant called "De Luwte" at Leliegracht 26 - 28. I enjoyed the food which was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The service was also very friendly. I ate there 3 nights out of 4. It did not appear to be a restaurant on the tourist map which made it ideal for me.

“ The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. However the rooms are like the inside of a caravan and there is barely enough room to swing a cat, they are the smallest hotel rooms I have ever been in. The showers are also the worst showers I have ever had and spray water in a 360 degree direction instead of down, they are awful. However the price and the great location make up for the downsides, this is a very cheap hotel in the heart of Amsterdam and you get what you pay for! The free drink on check in is a nice touch too.
“ Top Tip: Great Dutch pancake house next door, food is delicious!
