“ Hotel was in need of refurbishment. The furniture should have been replaced many years ago. The sauna area was not suitable for use. It was definately not a five star hotel, it should be rated at 3 star at the most. On a positive note it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was value for money.

“ Two minute walk from the train station. We had booked a triple room but as the hotel was quiet we were offered an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment.

“ Top Tip: Good pubs and restaurants very close by. Good bakeries for breakfast.
