Situated on Dam Square, in the heart of Amsterdam's historic centre, NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is conveniently located next to the large department stores and museums. From the Central Railway Station it just takes a five minute walk to. Regularly the shuttlebus to and from Schiphol Airport (a transfer takes approximately 40 minutes) arrives at the hotel's entrance. The Lounge serves coffee, high teas and a delicious lunch or dinner overlooking Dam Square.
In the Golden Palm Bar enjoy a drink before you have dinner in the monumental Restaurant Reflet or Restaurant Shibli Bedouin. Breakfast is served in the breath taking Winter Garden.

“ Central for getting around. Couldnt fault the rooms they were very spacious and very clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of variety for breakfast. The only negative is the hot food was cold on both days, they were kept in bowls on hot trays that didnt maintain any heat. Plates may have kept the heat if they had been warm and a microwave would have been useful. There was a long wait for omlettes to be cooked only one person in front of me and I waited 20 minutes to have the omlette cooked.

“ Fabulous hotel, great location, fantastic breakfast what more can I say...I'll be returning and will recommend to everyone.
“ Top Tip: Cheapest way to and from airport is by train 4 euros with a 10 mins walk to hotel. Catch a tram (2 or 5) to the Van Gogh Museum (very reasonable) it's a longer walk than you think, you can get 24hour passes from the little shop on the corner by the hotel for 7 euros each. Sea Palace - A bit pricey but beautiful food and worth it. Medevil Torture Museum - over priced. Sex Museum - interesting and very reasonable.
