“ Wonderful old hotel right in the middle of Oxford and ideal for visiting all Oxford has to offfer. Very friendly and helpful. Could do with some renovation as lot of the paint was flaking off. A quick lick of paint would work wonders. At £40 per person the lack of en suite loo & shower was understandable.

“ Comfrortable and convenient close to the centre of Oxford. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms on the third floor are only accessible by stairs from the second floor and so would not be suitable for someone who was not able-bodied.

“ A well presented hotel that has been cleverly converted from it's former prison glory. The staff at reception were very welcoming, the room was immaculate although rather small (and i'm informed the actual premium "cell" rooms are even smaller!) The restaurant was very busy at breakfast and in quite a small dining room for the number of guests using it.
