“ If you want a really quite break than the Maes Yr Haf and surroundings are perfect. I found it to be to quite!! I suggest that a one or two night overnight stay is enough, any longer than you pick up the true atmosphere of the place. Depressing. Front of house staff are wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Al a carte Menu!!!! Question of taste.

“ the hotel was clean and tidy but the room we stayed in had a big gap at the bottom of the door where the corridor light shone in all night, until I blocked it with a rolled up towel. The shower cubile was shabby but clean and tidy.

Gower Golf Club is a dramatic location elevated high above the Loughor Estuary with stunning views over South Wales coastline yet just 5 miles from the M4 and 5 miles from central Swansea.Our accommodation is located in 2 barn conversions adjacent to the main clubhouse. Although we don't have a formal reception area you can be assured of courteous staff in relaxed surroundings quite different to a standard hotel. We consider ourselves a great base for local amenities as well as a secure off- the- road stay over for business people. We have ample free parking close to your room. We run a casual bar food menu daily but a 2 course dinner menu can be pre-booked if required. Golfers may use the course free of charge after 6PM.
“ Nice golf course and accommodation, slightly out of the way, need to drive or get a taxi, (couple of miles to nearest place), staff really friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and evening meal was very reasonably priced and good quality. Would recommend for a short stay or a base to see the area. Bonus was a free round of golf, with some great views.

Woodside Apartments are cenrally located in the pretty village of Oxwich which is situated at the Western end of Oxwich Bay. For a small village with a population of less than two hundred it has a lot to offer. It boasts a number of thatched cottages two castles and a National Nature Reserve with a wide variety of bird and plant life and if that just isn't enough then there is always the bay with its glorious sand dunes towering cliffs and shady woods. Woodside apartment are 200 yards from Oxwich beach 100 yards from Oxwich Nature Reserve backed by Oxwich woods. However the bright lights of Swansea are only 30 minutes away with its marina area and night life. The apartments are centrally heated and at ground floor level making them suitable for all weathers and for the less able. There is ample parking and no added extras to the rental price.
