“ I received the warmest and most friendly welcome which set the standard. A beautiful pub in a stunning setting, run by such great people. The room was a tad small, however, in relation to the price paid it was excellent value. I had a great evening meal and the breakfast was perfect. They do pride themselves on their food and the sweets are to die for.

The Troutbeck Inn in the quiet hamlet of Troutbeck was once the Station Hotel when the railway was still operating between Penrith and the west coast. It is now a 4 Star Country Inn with Cottages.
