THE HOTEL WAS SITUATED IN THE OLD JEWISH AREA SURROUNDED BY PLENTY OF PLACES TO EAT AND HAVE A DRINK. MANY OF THE RESTAURANTS SERVE POLISH OR JEWISH FOOD.
DESPITE THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A PORTER AVAILABLE WE WERE LEFT TO FIND OUR OWN WAY TO OUR ROOM - WHICH WAS NOT DIFFICULT, BUT THE OFFER SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE. OUR ROOM SMELLED HEAVILY OF STALE CIGARETTES - WE ARE NON SMOKERS. THE SMELL STAYED IN THE ROOM FOR SEVERAL DAYS.
THE BREAKFASTS WERE FINE. THE ROOM WAS FINE - ALTHOUGH NOT QUITE AS WELL APPOINTED AS SHOWN ON THE HOTEL WEBSITE.
WE FOUND THE STAFF AT THE HOTEL TO BE RATHER SUBDUED.

“ lOVED THE HOTEL BUT CHANGED ROOMS TWICE BECAUSE THE BEDS WERE AGAINST THE WALL MEANING YOU HAD TO CRAWL OVER YOUR PARTNER TO GET IN OR OUT. REALLY NOT SUITABLE I WANTED TO RECOMMEND THE HOTEL TO 2 FRIENDS BUT SHE HAS BAD ARTHRITIS AND I AM WORRIED IN CASE SHE GETS ONE OF THE ABOVE ROOMS.

The hotel is very clean and well presented.
The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. They speak English well.
The food is good and served in style.
It is situated in the centre of Krakow's historic Jewish district. This gives it a unique atnosphere and there is a sense of being in a location where world changing historical events have taken place.
It is also a location where there are many excellent restaurants and the whole area resounds with life and the optomism of modern Poland.
