Very good hotel, lovely room, Lovely size bathroom and staff very helpful, breakfast was boarder line but ok I suppose. Was a fair walk to the city centre, but overall bearing in mind the cost I would say it was more than acceptable....

Top Tip: A Tesco!!!! About 15 mins walk away.....

Very nice comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good and on our day of arrival we had one evening meal in the Hotel which was very pleasant and great value for money, as a resident they give 20% discount. Area very quiet at night time so makes for a good nights sleep. Bathroom large with a good powerful shower with plenty hot water.

The only downside to the Hotel is perhaps it's location. Be prepared to use public transport. The walk to the city centre is quite a long one either along a very busy road or down by the river either way a good half hour walk. Alternatively take a 10 minute walk to the nearest tramstop at Kapalenka and get the 18 or 19 tram right into the centre (takes another 10 mintues) If you're there for a few days buy a 3 day ticket for the equivalent of £6 and you can hop on and off all modes of public transport. We found this the best way to get about and great value for money. We explored the whole city this way and also used the public transport to visit Aushwitz and the Salt Mines. Able to visit at a fraction of the cost of an organised tour.

Overall we had a very pleasant trip to Krakow and enjoyed our stay at the Petrus. If you're not prepared to use the trams and buses then this is not the Hotel for you as it's a good walk into the city centre........... but if you are prepared to use public transport then we couldn't fault the Hotel. Don't expect 5 star accommodation but extremely good value for money for the budget traveller.
