Sheraton Hotel

“ Check in was very friendly and professional. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. I only used the dining area for the buffet breakfast and I would thoroughly recommend this. The range and quality of food was first class. The maids must work hard as my room was cleaned, tidied and bed made while I was having breakfast. Wi-FI access is free in the reception area however there is a charge when used in your room. There is also a pool and sauna however I did not use either of these. There is a quite bar in the hotel and an adjacent bar/diner. Both offer a good range of drinks. I only had one minor complaint. We were in the adjacent bar (part of the hotel) for a beer after a long day seeing the sites. In Poland smoking is permitted in bars however some selfish people (coming from the non-smoking hotel) used the bar as a smoke room. I would not have mentioned this. however these people did not even buy a drink. I guess it says more about how inconsiderate smokers are but I would have expected the management to at least ensure they made a purchased.

“ Top Tip: Easy walking distance to to the Market Square with Bars and Restaurants. Prices vary between much cheaper than the UK to about the same.

“ As a world business traveller, I could not find any faults whatsoever with the Sheraton. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was superb and the sports bar a treat!
The location couldnt be better for anyone wishing to take part in the many excursions and trips on offer as it is directly opposite the bus park where all of the trips depart from.
The main square is 5 minutes walk with a large selection of bars and restaurants.
10/10!!!
I must add that being able to book the entire trip through Travel Republic including the Hotel, all excursions, airport parking & taxi transfer in Krakow was excellent and everything went like clockwork. I for one will definitely be using these guys again!!!

“ Top Tip: Would definitely recommend the Auschwitz/Birkenau excursion. Although very sobering and at some times very emotional, you cannot fail to take some good away from it. I certainly left a better and more tolerant person.

“ Everything about this hotel was great but the reason why I cannot give it a full 10 in rating is two incidents. One was that they cannot give me a non smoking room reason being we were booking though an agent so we cannot expect our requirements to be met!! Another was, when we asked at reception to book a taxi for us in the evening, the receptionist said what for it's only 10 mins walk!!

“ Top Tip: taxi to old town is 10 zloty from hotel, so instead of walking at night I would advice you to get one. The streets are poorly lit. It's worth while to compare the price of hotel Mercedes taxis to other forms of transport before you book any tours because as a party of 4, we found the latter cheaper and more convenient.

“ Great hotel,friendly and helpful staff.Clean,modern and well equipped room. Stayed on B&B basis breakfast was huge with something for everybody. Will definately use this hotel again.
