“ Very polite and helpful staff Spoke good English which was invaluable in a country where English is not widely spoken in comparison to France Spain Germany etc Rooms very clean and modern No complaints at all apart from the the typical fatty bacon!
“ Top Tip: Make sure you make good use of the staffs helpful nature especially regarding travelling on buses trams trains etc because you will get short shrift off the surly bus drivers train conductors!!

“ Very pleasant well run hotel with a nice buffet breakfast and very helpful staff. We had requested a quiet room with double bed when we made the reservation six weeks previously. They did find us one but had to be pushed to do so. Also whilst there was internet in the bedrooms, when I wished to print a boarding pass it was £ 3 to do so
“ Top Tip: 175 bus! Drops you from the airport outside the hotel and carries on to the centre of the Old City

The hotel is very well situated. Number 175 bus stops right outside so the journey to and from the airport is simple and cheap. It is easy to get to just about anywhere in the city, most trams and buses pass close by.
The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable,the staff are
friendly. There is alovely garden on the first floor which we made use of every
morning to drink a cup of good coffee and plan our day. The breakfast was
excellent. Amazing selection of hot and cold dishes.
We started our day in the gym and ended our day in the jacuzzi.
We are recommending this hotel to all our friends and intend to return ourselves
soon.

We travelled with another couple. We received up-graded rooms in a quiet area of the hotel. Service and cleanliness excellent. The Sobieski breakfast is a top drawer start to any day.
All transport requirements just outside hotel. Our sixth visit, looking forward already to the seventh!
“ Top Tip: Local Turkish restaurant very reasonable prices and great food. Don't be shy...ask at reception about events, transport, restaurants, museums etc. and they will delight in helping you.

Returned there again last week. I see from the review section that there were 2 other persons who were repeat guests,and it's quite understandable. It is the best
value 4-star hotel in town ( many of the other ' 4-stars' aren't really such ). True,
it doesn't have a large reception area nor a swimming-pool, which some of those other ones may have; but, the ' public areas ' ,including the restaurant area, have been refurbished and ,now, good quality leathersofas and chairs, instead of the old,run-
down 'seating equipments'! The breakfast is still (very ) good,but one gets the
impression that it is slightly less good than 2 years ago-- which is, one supposes,
not entirely unreasonable, given how much food prices have risen since then! But,
they should be able to do better than scrambled eggs! Overall, 4 ' thumbs '.
