“ Been here many times. Lovely clean spacious apartments. Lovely staff. Would definitely recommend! Not for you if you want buzzing entertainment and a location in the town or on the beach. We don't mind walking or getting a taxi. Alternatively hire a car.

“ Staff very helpful and pleasant, the apartment was kept very clean and tidy and was of a good size. Not many guests when we stayed but could imagine it could get very noisy in high season, especially the apartments overlooking the pool area.
“ Top Tip: Santos restaurant which is situated approx 300 metres away up by the roundabout worth a visit

There was a childs play area with swinigs etc, a pitch and putt area, a kiddies club plus kiddies pool so plenty to keep them occupied. there was a bar/restuarant (food very good and well priced) on ground level with a lovely terrace where you could relax with your drinks, there was another bar in the basement but that was closed (lack of customers) so never saw the inside of that one. The bar staff Jose and Maria, the cleaning staff and desk staff were all very pleasant and always ready to help. The down side the complex is a bit out of the way, a walk to Portamao to Alvor or to the beach will take you between 40/45 min a taxi 4/5 Euros having said that Alvor or anyone of the beaches is worth it. My big comlaint was the sunbeds, they supply the beds but charge you for the mats to put on them 1.75 Euros not a lot but i think thats fair. Alvor itself is a beutiful place, i dont think it would be fair to give any one bar or restuarant a special mention they were all exelent, would like to go back sometime.
“ Top Tip: All the beaches, pubs, restuarants were 1st class

“ Top Tip: Hire a car from faro. Saves on the taxi fare or transfer and you get it for your stay. Go to Alvor for restaurants and Praia Da rocha for bars and nightlife.

“ We have returned to Vitors again this year and have found everything is still great! The staff cannot do enough for you and the animation guy keeps the children busy throughout the day with various activities (he tries really hard to get everyone involved). The apartments are always very clean and we will probably return next year.
“ Top Tip: Although the hotel is right between Alvor and Pria Da Rocha there is a complimentary bus which goes from Vitors to both Pria Da Rocha and Portimao and returns later in the day. There is also a great restaurant on the beach at Pria Da Rocha called OFarels (not an Irish bar, means lighthouse) which is superb.
