Welcoming hotel offering a good standard of comfort and service. Located in the centre of Faro, right next to the marina. Roof top restaurant with great views across the marina and old town, as well as a street side cafe along the marina's promenade. Other facilities include an outdoor pool with ample terrace and bar. Most rooms have balconies. Faro beach is 8km away and can be reached by local bus.

In the peaceful Algarve and 13 km from the town of Tavira, this charming small hotel lives up to its name, the House of Calm. Casa da Calma is a small hotel, originally a farm, situated 4 km from the centre of Moncarapacho and 13 km from the “Venice of Algarve”, the town of Tavira. The closest beach, Praia Fuzeta, is 8 km from the hotel and the airport of Faro 27 km away. All the guestrooms have a complete bathroom (shower or bath), a patio or terrace and are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, minibar, bathrobes, pool towels and hair dryer. Casa da Calma has a garden area with a heated swimming pool, sauna, a breakfast room and a living room with bar. Small meals, lunches and dinners can be arranged by ordering in advance. Pets are welcome (for fee).
“ My wife and I had a fabulous time whilst celebating our first wedding anniversary. Nicole and her staff made us feel very welcome and the hotel was lovely. We often had the pool to ourselves in the afternoon.

“ I am a little suprised that this hotel has a 4 star rating with Trip Adviser. On entering the hotel reception we ignored by the female receptionist while she fiddled with her computer. Not even an aknowlegement while we waited for her attention.

The hotel is situated in an outstanding location, in one of the most popular areas of downtown Faro, facing the harbour, the Ria Formosa and their sandy beaches and very close to the old town. All the rooms are decorated in a contemporary style, using soft shades, all with private bathroom facilities, cable television, radio and mini-bar. Internet connections are also available. This is a modern building. This hotel enjoys a top position in the heart of the city, just in front of the yacht harbour and close to the main shopping streets, bars and restaurants. The hotel offers a daily boat trip to Desert Island in Ria Formosa, where you can spend a day sunbathing on the beach or discovering local bird life between 15 June to 15 September. Recommended. “ excellent hotel. Loved it Fabulous view of the harbour from our room. Loved it Breakfast wonderful. Rooftop restaurant which was great No lobby area for hanging out in but wasnt an issue. Just good to know not to expect one.

This hotel is ideally located in the city center of Faro, close to the marina. All shops, restaurants, bars and places of interest are within walking distance. The rooms are decorated in a classical style, all equipped with telephone, television, air conditioning and bathroom. Some rooms have shower, whilst others have a bathtub. “ We paid £96.00 for a three night stay in double room which included a cold buffet breakfast. The airport bus passes the front of the hotel just before arriving at the bus terminus in Faro. Well placed for bus station, train station and marina.

The Inn Frangaria was opened in 2004 it is located in a new building of modern design with private parking. It Offers our customers comfort and the rooms all well equipped. A place where we tried to combine the traditional with modern decoration offering the traveler a night or a meal to remember. Once we are very close to Faro International Airport Inn Frangaria is also ideal for those arriving by plane to Faro and those looking for a good night's rest before returning to the country of origin.
“ Great hotel, very near to airport so if you have an early or late flight this hotel is perfect (6 mins by car ). The staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was OK (Continental).

“ The hotel is totally lacking in atmosphere. Arriving at the small reception you feel the dismal atmosphere because like the large passageways and the bedroom the carpets are in the main a dull grey the furniture modern but black and the walls sheer white with the woodwork in the bedrooms a dark brown imitation wood - all boring and dismal.
