“ We found the apartment to be very large and comfortably furnished. The complex was very pleasant and we would return there again. The kitchen would have benefitted from a kettle and microwave but apart from that it was fine.

“ This hotel is ideally situated for all local amenities bars,restaurants,town and the lovely marina.We were able to walk to one of the many lovely beaches and despite it being January the weather was sunny and warm enough for shorts, however cold at night.

“ The staff are friendly and very efficient . Any help required was almost instantly available. The manager is also accessable and appears to motivate his staff very well. If you wish to stay in the hotel the bar and restaurant are good, otherwise restaurants etc. are well within walking distance.

“ The Hotel was very clean. The food was very average. We only ate in the hotel one night and that was enough! Lovely pool and very near to the beach. The bar staff were extremley slow. The hotel was mostly empty during our stay and still we found it hard to get a drink at night in the bar so again we headed off to the town for a drink.

“ Stayed out of season so very quiet. The room was excellent and very clean. Hotel facilities were excellent but not all in operation e.g. sauna, steam bath. This was probably down to the season. Street light through room door window was a little annoying at night.

Opened in 2003, this hotel comprises a total of 220 apartments surrounded by sprawling greenery and gardens. Guests are welcomed in the lobby area with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, and an à la carte restaurant. Younger guests may let off steam in the playground, and those arriving by car may make use of the car park. The reception is open between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm. Those arriving outside these times should inform the reception desk of their arrival times, so that the apartment keys can be left with the security staff. Guests can then check in on the following morning. The safe is paid for directly at reception. In addition, excursions with jeeps, safaris, and boat trips can be booked at reception, where tickets for the water parks are also available. Guests also receive a discount at various golf courses. “ we booked a one bedroomed apartment for the weekend for the World superbike event at Portemao and we were upgraded to a two bedroomed apartment. the apartment was out of this world - superb in fact. yes a few ants in the bathroom but nothing too scary.

It Is A Short Walk From The Village Of Luz With Its Beautiful Beach, Shops And Restaurants. The Establishment Has Four Buildings. In The Main Building You Will Find A Stylish Reception Area, A Spacious Restaurant With A Terrace Overlooking The Pool And The Ocean. All Rooms With Balconies And Glorious Views Over The Pool And The Ocean. The Others 3 Buildings Have Rooms With Balconies And Partial View Of The Sea. All Rooms Are Very Spacious And Decorated In A Traditional Rural Style With Stone Walls, A Rich, Warm Colour Scheme And Antique Charm Alongside Modern Touches Such As Ambient Lighting. There Is A Built- In Mirrored Wardrobe And A Wall-safe. The Large Pool And Surrounding Area Are Tiled In Traditional Calç.
“ Hotel was superb but unless you are superfit, you will probably require a car as it is a good walk into Luz. Large pool and pretty gardens well maintained, however the water in the pool was cool. Room was great with large balcony with good view and standard of housekeeping could not be faulted.
