The Hotel Alcazar is located in Monte Gordo which has one of the most beautiful beaches of Eastern Algarve in the bay of Monte Gordo, surrounded by excellent, unspoilt natural areas.The Hotel Alcazar is approximately 30 min. away from the Airport, 0.3 km to the city centre and just 300 m to the sandy beach. All guest rooms have private bathrooms with a bath, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, minibar, safety deposit box. “ the hotel was always clean and tidy, the room was kept and cleaned to a very high standard. the food was not bad a good selection in the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, although sometimes was a little over cooked, there was no coffee available for the evening meal and had to be purchased in the bar upstairs.

“ Hotel in general was very good, but could do with a spruce up in some areas. Enjoyed our stay very much and would definately go back again. Excellant position on the beach, would be great in the summer.

The hotel, which was renovated in 2009, has a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, providing pleasant moments of leisure to its clients. Is the ideal place for those who need to rest in a very quiet environment, surrounded by beautiful gardens and with direct access to the beach. The hostelry has 22 rooms and 4 suites overlooking the sea, as well as a bar, restaurant, conference rooms, games rooms and a private car park.
“ The Hotel Turoasis was ideal for us. We prefer smaller, unsophisticated hotels with no modern frills. The hotel was quiet when we were there (great for us) and we were well looked after.

Built in 1974, this hotel was renovated in the year 2000 and offers a total of 108 double rooms spread over 6 floors. The hotel offers a 24-hour reception, a safe, a lift and a cafe. Guests are also offered a TV room and an air-conditioned buffet restaurant with highchairs for children. In addition, the hotel has a conference room and a public Internet terminal as well as bicycle hire. A laundry service rounds off the amenities.
“ The hotel itself was very nice and kept clean and tidy, also rooms cleaned and fresh towels were put out when needed. The only downfall would be the standard of food at dinner which was on the cold side and also the plates were cold which didn't help. If this were put right I would certainly recommend it.

“ Excellent value for money. From the outside hotel looks a little tired, however internally clean, spacious and updated. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Very few British guests therefore breakfast mainly continental (although still very good and variable).
