A lovely hotel, run efficiently by very nice people and with beautiful sea views. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Having the small fridge was an added bonus for keeping drinks chilled.
We were grateful for the distance from town as it was quiet but a fair walk for anyone wanting to use the beach.
The meals provided by the hotel were good but we would have liked a better variety of fresh fruit each day.
A hotel that we would certainly use again and would have no hesitation in recommending!

Fantastic value for money!
Massive rooms, really clean and comfortable.
Good choice of food for breakfast.
About 15 minute walk down to the centre of Luz, gentle hill back.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Thoroughly recommend it.
“ Top Tip: Some restaurants in Luz a bit pricy, try Burgau (1.5 miles) or Almadena if you have a car.

“ Hotel was superb but unless you are superfit, you will probably require a car as it is a good walk into Luz. Large pool and pretty gardens well maintained, however the water in the pool was cool. Room was great with large balcony with good view and standard of housekeeping could not be faulted. We were on B & B and the breakfast was more than adequate with the option of eating outside on the balcony. Had dinner one night and it was good value. Staff were corteous and helpful. Not too many Brits there but other residents were all friendly. No evening entertainment but a good bar. Would certainly consider another holiday there.

Top Tip:
The Lime Tree rest in Luz was great with a special bargain if you ate before 7pm.
A trip to Lagos in the evning is to be recommended and we particularly liked the Don Giovani Italian Rest up north from the main square through the lanes.
Walk along the cliff tops from Luz to Burgau was good to walk off excess food and drink.
