“ Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great service at all times and don't miss out on the Hilton breakfast. The main pool is beautiful and the food is good in all restaurants and bars if a little on the pricey side. Only gripes were timing of food service is a little late for toddlers so am glad we had the self catering apartment, which was amazing. Also the courtesy bus needs to run later as its not easy with young children to get back from the town in the evening. That said, it's only a small gripe and wouldn't put me off returning. We travelled with a 2 year old for 8 nights and had an amazing time. Well recommended and would return tomorrow given half the chance.
“ Top Tip: Car hire is useful but not vital. The reception will book you cabs wherever you want to go. And they will order you a lovely Portuguese takeaway. Sardines and piri piri chicken on your balcony. Don't miss a jug of sangria by the pool.

“ The apartments were fabulous and perfect for our short girls weekend away. They were very spacious and stylish with high quality furnishings and immaculate bathrooms. The staff throughout the resort in both the apartments and the Hilton were excellent, and provided a great friendly service. There were a lot of families at the resort, but the adult only pool was the perfect spot for something quieter. The shuttle service into the Marina was really useful and efficient. The location is a little far out from the main activities, but this did not prove to be a problem for us. We had a great weekend and would be delighted to return!

Top Tip:
Il Tria Italian restaurant was a great recommendation we received. It is one road behind the Marina (near taxi rank) and had excellent food and friendly staff.
Taxi queues at this rank can be a problem in peak times - use the taxi rank outside the casino instead where your should have less of a wait.

“ Brilliant apartments for families. Great kids pool and access to Hilton facilities, would recommend to anyone. We requested a ground floor apartment which was perfect for pool access with young child. Apartment was very well equiped and breakfast at the Hilton was excellent. We were glad we hired a car to drive to supermarket and marina/beach.

“ Overall the hotel was excellent. The only small issue related to the staffing levels: whilst the staff were all very friendly, hardworking and helpful, the bar and reception areas at times seemed understaffed and therefore, we had to wait a while for any service
“ Top Tip: Most amenities were a twenty minute walk, but the old town was worth a visit
