“ Beautiful, quiet setting away from the town and Strip. Within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants, although on-site facilities are well-catered for in the minimarket, plus the bar(s) and restaurant(s), depending on season. Internet access is very limited. Spotless accommodation and grounds.
“ Top Tip: Hotel has a mini-bus to the old-town, plus the noddy train is great for hopping on and off all-day for £3.50.

Third visit to Alfagar 1. The rooms are cleaned regularly and are spacious. Booked a room with balcony and sea view. Perfect. Only down side was that the on site restaurant isn't open so early in the season (meals are available in the bar though). There are plenty of cafes/restaurants about 15 mins walk away. Staff at Alfagar are all helpful and friendly and when our lights blew one afternoon they immediately sent someone to fix them.
Tended to be the older age group at this time of year (staying on a longer term basis) and not many stayed in the bar later on at night for the entertainment. There is a happy hour now between 2pm and 6pm with reduced prices on all drinks. Only improvement would be a bar overlooking the sea!
“ Top Tip: Alfagar has its own area of beach accessible down wooden steps. The steps would, i assume, be difficult for elderly/infirm people, but worth the visit and you can always walk along the paths above the cliffs for good views of the sea.
