“ The apartment was spacious and well equipped.
It is a pity that it appears (at least at this time of year) to be run on an absolute shoestring.
Although it was cleaned daily, reception was only manned from 9-5 with an hours break at lunchtime and the beautiful pool area had only 4 sun loungers.
Admittedly the complex was only half full but if everybody wanted to sunbathe at once,this would have presented a problem.
The bar was closed the whole time we were there and as the nearest bar/restaurant open was some 800 yards distant this was far from ideal.
It was however exceptional value for money although I feel it would be better to operate with all available facilities or not at all.
The resort area was beautiful with a beach on the doorstep but I would not recommend a stay at this time of year as without a car and with so many restaurants already closed every meal time entailed a long walk.

“ Top Tip: There is a great beach down some steep steps very close to the complex but the beach bar (like most others) was closed.
We use Restaurants Duarte, Cabritos and Tavertinos and all were of a reasonable standard and sensibly priced.
Choice of restaurants was severely limited due to seasonal closures.

“ Accomondation was to a very high standard and very clean. Receptionists were helpful and spoke good english making communications easy. Grounds were well maintained and suitable for all ages. Restaurant and bar looked good although werent open in November (not really suprising!!!). Location was perfect, just half hour drive from Faro and 10 mins to Albeufeira. Supermarkets and Restaurants were close by although a car is strongly reccommended to see what the Algarve has to offer. Overall a fantastic holiday and for the money we paid would definitly recommend to anyone.

“ Top Tip: Pickwicks Bar - Located on the front in Olhos De Agua, Great food especially the Piri-Piri chicken. Run by an English couple who have great knowledge of the area. Beer and Sangria are also top notch.

“ Apartments were really good, spacious bedroom and decent sized living room and the bonus of a seperate kitchen with fridge freezer and washing machine. Also toaster,electric kettle microwave, full size hob,microwave& ironing board . Staff were really nice and very helpful. Only down-side was the bar and restaurant were closed due to it being late in the season but for £88 each for the holiday we can't complain! It was quite a long walk to shops and restaurants but having stayed in this area before we knew were the best and cheapest ones were. The beach is lovely and very close enjoyed a morning walk there every day. The pool and surrounding area also looked clean and very well cared for.

“ Top Tip: Ask the receptionist to direct you to the large supermarket-cheapest and best selection of goods. Top value restaurant is the 3 marias on the same road-11.50 euros for starter, main,dessert and half bottle of wine. Best bar we found for live music-Sir Harry's in the square in Albufeira old town. Two portugese guys who are fantastic acoustic guitar players and singers-really good night for all ages.
