“ Running track on site, cross country trail 5 minutes walk away, run two miles either way across the beach, running trails in the pine forests. Can walk to Vilamoura along the beach.
“ Top Tip: Mainly German guests - if you book full board the evening meal menu will reflect this.

Hotel I would say its a 3 star rather than 4 star as specified. Good facilities such as Jacuzzi and suana to use without paying aditional fees. However the food in the resturant are very expensive. 2 x 2 really small peices of cheese toast cost 6 euros! That's the most expensive tiny toast I'd had. If u prefer just the sea, sand and weather then you'll enjoy it with the hotel's facilities.. sports such as tennis are additional fees. We were mainly interested in sight seeing, exploring the country.. and we had to travel mainly with taxis as the bus timetable especially on a weekend is not good. We spent most of our spending money on food and taxis. So overall we spent approx £215 per person flight and accomodation.. another £600 approx spent on food and travelling.. only a tiny amount spent on buying gifts like fridge magnets and a few t-shirts.. that's approx just over £1000 for a weekend away!
I would recommend you do your reaserch properly b4 making your way to the area. If you like travelling its best to stay nearer to the main city albufeira where bus services are available at weekdays. Weekend aways in his city I wouldn't recommend due to limited transport services.

Located on a cliff top, just a short walk down a few steps to the beach and close to the bustling town of Armação de Pêra, the Pestana Levante Beach & Golf Hotel offers breathtaking views of the ocean and coast. Idyllic coves and golden sandy beaches are all around. There are many excellent restaurants and bars to enjoy and dine on fabulous fish and seafood, some of the best you will ever be served is caught locally and fresh daily.
“ Well situated hotel, ideal for beach and close to town. Lovely gardens and pool. Spacious and clean. However on half board we were expecting a buffet at the evening meal. Instead were given a set menu with a limited choice of only three dishes.

“ THE HOTEL WAS FREEZING THROUOUT AS THERE WASNT ANY HEATING ON IN THE WHOLE HOTEL.WE WERE GIVEN A SMALL HEATER IN OUR ROOM .IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO WARM THE ROOM UP WITH THE HEATER ON ALL DAY AND NIGHT .THE ROOM HADNT BEEN AIRED AND SMELT DAMP.

For the less business-minded we offer a charming games room 3 amazing swimming pools 2 fantastic tennis-courts and mini-golf. The icing on the cake has to be our delightful self-service restaurant providing delicious International cuisine. The Auramar Beach Resort is an entirely unique resort!
