Hotel Description:
The Ouratlantico Apartments offers excellent value for an outstanding hotel in Portugal's much loved tourist spot Albufeira. Perfectly situated in peaceful Praia de Oura yet close enough to the famous Strip bustling with international restaurants, bars, clubs and cosmopolitan shops. This hotel is only a short 500m from one of Portugal's world famous family friendly golden sandy beaches.
Local tips: Albufeira is steeped in history not all of it Portugese, indeed the name Albufeira is actually Arabic in origin and translates to mean "Sea Castle", and you can see from looking around the old quarters some of the original castles' remains - specifically near the walled part along the Rua Joaquim Pedro Samora and further down the same road you will come across 2 tiled plaques which mark the spot where 2 of the original doors to the walled city would have stood. Look around the old town and you are sure to see lots of other markers of other times and eras.
FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment; Breakfast is served in the main restaurant continental style, snacks are offered throughout the day at the snack bar near the outside pool. Sports, games and activities; outdoor pool, indoor pool, table tennis, games room, Jacuzzi, sauna, and tennis courts. Additional; 24 hour manned reception, cleaning service 6 times weekly, shops, currency exchange service, car parking, garage facility, public internet terminal, laundry service, bicycle hire and storage facility.The hotel reserves the right to ask for a deposit for damages of € 50 per person at check in. This will be returned on departure if no damage to property occurred. This can be in the form of a credit card.
Room Facilities:
Apartments at the Ouratlantico range between 2 to 6 person occupancy, private bathroom, kitchenette, satellite television, safe, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. All apartments are spacious and decorated in a contemporary fashion.

“ This is the second stay at these apartments. They are very clean, nicely laid out complex. First stay we were in an upstairs 1 bedroom Apt. which was good. Second stay we asked for a ground floor 1 bed Apt. Our request was granted & this one was massive. Abolutely brilliant. Staff were very helpful. Handy for the strip & bars & resteurants, although we didn't hear any noise.
“ Top Tip: Invictus pub & resteurant is 100 yards away, very good snacks & upstairs is a top quality meal.

“ Accomodation was first class and was very central to the main strip. Beach was about a five minute walk away although for elderely people it would be hard to climb the hill. Overall the accomodation, location and holiday was excellent
“ Top Tip: Lots of first class restaurants - A great bar is the Invictus good music and great food

Hotel well situated for restaurants and beach. Old town about 20 mins easy walk.
a bit noisier on weekends but no trouble. Breakfast a bit boring, would eat it out if we returned. Rooms roomy but a little basic , but kept very clean during our stay. Nice pool and friendly.
“ Top Tip: Fugi japanese restaurant . Teppan yaki and sushi excellent and a good night out. Turn left when leaving hotel and continue to next roundabout and turn left here, walk about 100 meters and is its on left hand side of road.

“ This hotel was great, has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. When me and my friend arrived it was late, and we were tired and didn't know what to expect, but we were amazed of how good our apartment was. the bathroom and bedroom was pretty basic but comfortable. 3 balconies we had so was spoilt for choice when chilling out. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, only one thing only one hob on cooker worked, but hey its not the end of the word. Swimming pool was spot on along with pool bar. location was spot on, 5 minutes walk from the strip but also far enough not to hear it, and nice walk to old town, which comes in handy when eaten loads. Defo going back :-)
