Clean modern and good value for money, the standard for staff was very good , nothing to much trouble. The decor was modern but at home feel breakfast was very good ,could be a bit overcrowded if weather not good as dining area not big inside.Would go again and recomend. This hotel is in a great spot 5 mins to old town in taxi 10 15 mins walk to strip

“ Me and my boyfriend arrived early sunday morning to this stunning modern hotel, it was as good or even better than it looked in the photos. We had a deluxe double room, seaview, which was amazing, the sun was always on our balcony. The pool area was nice size but could probably do with some more sunbeds as when we got up at around 9am, all beds were taken but we never went out there until about 12 or 1pm and you could usually get one by then. The beach was a lovely short walk down a windy path which has a few beach cafes there. The room we could not fault, lovely size bathroom with little extras like body lotion, nail file, comb, also you dont need to take shampoo or shower gel as they have that in the bathroom plus hairdryer. Towels were changed everyday and room was cleaned to a very good standard. The actual room had chocolate colour rugs and lamps, coffee and tea making facilities ( these only come with the deluxe rooms) Also a mini bar which is payable but we just bought our own drinks to put in there. Bed was amazing it was about 6 feet wide and was the most comfortable bed i had ever slept in and had about 6 pillows on bed which were different firmness ( soft to very hard). When you come out of your room, the levels are all bright and airey and look down over the indoor bar/lounge area which is very modern deco, again with big fluffy rugs, white leather seating areas and big standard lamps. We had bed and breakfast and couldnt fault it, they had continental, cooked breakfast, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, breads, tea, coffee, even champagne if you wanted it!! . We would definately reccomend this hotel and we are definately going to use this hotel again when we go back to Portugal!! :-)) P.S my opinion i think this hotel deserves a 5 star rating!

“ Top Tip: The hotel is close by to loads of restaurtants, cafes and entertainment. one nice cafe we frequented was called sol caffee just round corner from hotel, food and drinks excellent and very reasonable. Also a cafe called eddys which serves good cooked breakfasts for about 3.50 euros, its just over road from hotel. Also well worth a trip into old town Albufeira which is about 10 minute drive by taxi and cost no more than 4 euros, very quaint cobbled streets with lots of shops and restaurants with street entertainers, we had dinner at one place over looking the square which was lovely and also the beach looks excellent there but didnt get chance to use that one as we only stayed for 4 nights.

“ Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It is very new (built in 2009) and the decor is very modern and chic. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and cannot be criticised at all and you even get a free safe in the room, along with a late check out for no extra cost.

However, there are a few negatives:

1)The pool is quite small and after 9am, you will be very lucky to get a sun lounger
2)The buffet meal isn't particularly brilliant, especially if you are paying for it and not staying half board; therefore, would recommend nearby restaurants for better quality of food and cheaper prices.
3) BIG WARNING!! We asked for an alarm call for 7am on the day of departure and, for some reason, our telephone didn't ring. We had precisely 8 minutes to pack and check out - I'm just glad we woke up on our own accord or we would have missed our flight home.
4) TINY balconies so if you are above average size, you may struggle to be seated.
