Its inviting atmosphere is ideal for a restorative family holiday under the Algarve sun. A bus service runs twice daily from the hotel to the beach, except at the weekends. Links to the public transport network lie about 200 m away. Shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and pubs are located within around 300 m away and the nearest nightclub is around 600 m from the complex. “ Tropical Sol is a lovely and clean hotel close to local shops and the strip. My only gripe is that the decor is a tad dated and the beds are hard so I rarely got a full nights kip.
“ Top Tip: Take the yellow and blue train to main tourist spots as taxis can be pricey and a waste of money.

“ Had a lovely stay at Tropical Sun. Very generous sized apartment. well serviced clean and comfortable. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't the best but ok. Nice bar area and the snack bar near the pool served affordable and tasty snacks . Plenty of space by the pool to sit and relax . Close to 'the strip' which wasn't a problem but imagine in the peak season may be a bit noisier. A good walk into the old town but tourist train accessible and runs regularly. Ideal holiday if you want to relax and take it easy. Would visit again .would equally suit couples or families and will recommend to friends and family.
“ Top Tip: just off the main square in Albufeira was a lovely restaurant called Casanovas. Serving delicious sea food. Also would recommend the gold palace Chinese restaurant just round the corner from the hotel. Friendly and beautifully cooked food
