“ Had a pleasant stay, staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate, dated but have most essentials. It is worth noting that electrical items, such as kettle, toasters, microwave, etc., are all for hire, (not expensive) so this should be taken into account with the cost of the holiday. The apartments are inexpensive and are well adequate for a budget holiday. The bar and pool area were nice and relaxing. The bar food was good and cheap. The location is ok if you want a leisurely relaxing holiday and don't mind staying close to base as, although there are a few restaurants within walking distance, a car would be essential for those who want to get out and about. To sum these apartments up I would say they are very good value for money if you are looking for a budget holiday!

“ Have stayed there a few times now and the only real criticisms I would make are regarding the cooking facilities which are basic to say the least and that things like toasters, electric kettles, fans etc are available but only on payment of a deposit (refundable on return) and a daily hire charge. The rooms are not air conditioned so I would have expected an electric fan to be included as standard.
“ Top Tip: The Casa Falesia restaurant has good food, good service and reasonable prices and is only a few hundred yards down the main road (just along from the supermarket).

“ VALE DE CARROS APPARTMENTS ARE GREAT FOR A GOOD CHEAP HOLIDAY. STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME THERE AND WE ARE GOING AGAIN IN OCTOBER.
“ Top Tip: WE LIKED THE HOLLYWOOD BAR THE BEST. THE OWNER CHICO IS GREAT.NOTHING IS TO MUCH TROUBLE FOR HIM.HE HAS BEEN THERE FOR TWENTY SOMETHING YEARS.

Vale De Carros apartments are basic, but clean and spacious with either a large balcony if you are upstairs, or a garden terrace if you are downstairs. We've been three times now and find them to be great value, and are really good if you have you kids who can play in the pool and beautiful gardens.
Its about a 15 minute taxi ride to Albufiera, so don't book this if you are after a wild time within walking distance to the Strip - this is a relaxed resort in a small village.

Tania's restaurant is a short walk up the road, and has the best Peri Peri chicken I've had.
Use 'Pride of Place' for a friendly English service for your airport transfers and day trips.
