Arrived Oct 14th until Oct 21s with wife and 7 year old daughter. Booked a room with pool view, which also had a sea view. Obviously paid a bit more but would recommend as wouldn't have liked a room on other side of hotel which faced the road. Room was clean (as was the rest of the hotel) and spacious and good size balcony. Cleaner every day with fresh towels which was good. Although it had a useful mini fridge would have liked tea / coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice although the bacon was not great.
Pool area was fantastic. Very clean and beds were of the "soft" type which are far better than the plastic ones. A bit strange is that the although the hotel caters for children, the vast majority of the pool was too deep for my daughter to stand in and she is a tall 7 year old. However the pool was spotless and big. There is a small toddlers pool. There was also a kids club and whilst there was not many children at this time of year it remained open and my daughter spend a bit of time here and loved it, with the 2 girls (entertainers) very welcoming. There is also an indoor games area with a couple of video games, bar football, air hockey and pool table all very reasonably priced at € 1.
The indoor pool was less deep and was good fun with the "jungle" theme but certain parts were in desparate need of upgrade and am sure puts people off going to.
Bar prices were not too bad for a 4 star hotel with a large beer at € 4 and wine at € 5.60 (small at € 2.80).
Staff were friendly.
Location was great with only a 8-10 min walk to the old town where most bars and restaurants are but also plenty around the hotel but didn't go to any of these, except McDonald's which was right across the road. Also had a supermarket about 100 yards away and also next to the "wee" train stop which can take you around the resort for € 2.50 each. Local beaches also right next to old town which were brilliant.
“ Top Tip: Two great restaurants right next to each other. One called Cabana Fresca but can't remember the other. Both right on the sea front quite close the escalators that take you down to the old town.

“ Visited September 2013 no evening activities and entertainment laid on at the hotel, although there were plenty of guests staying at Vile Gale Hotel. Evenings needed to have some form of entertainment to encourage people to remain within the hotel complex.

The hotel was very nice and clean. A good position between the new and old towns.
Full breakfast choice from cooked to fruit or cereal.
One downside is no wifi in the rooms, only available in reception or by the pool.
“ Top Tip: Bakery under the hotel next door called riveria. Fanatic for coffee and a big slice of cake.
