Located in Praia da Galé this hotel offers privacy, intimacy and luxury, ideal for couples looking for absolute rest and relaxation. The SPA "Satsanga" includes a mega Jacuzzi, a sauna, a Turkish bath, fitness room and a selection of treatments and massages and 2 tennis courts (these are chargeable locally and rates include use of a towel). The hotel also features the 'Inevitável' Restaurant.

Absolutely no complaints. All the staff were smiley, friendly and helpful.
The hotel is decent, smart, clean, quiet and smells nice. There's even a Pillow Menu so you can have Arctic Down if that tickles your fancy.
Breakfast is good.
The fridge in the room wasn't very cold but they swapped it no problem to a slightly better one.
Sauna, jacuzzi and (small) gym are free to use; treatments are similar prices to UK.
An ideal, relaxed bolt-hole that's still pretty close to the noisier Albufeira.
“ Top Tip: BIKES - We got some with front suspension for 30 Euros for 3 days. Worth it if you don't have a car, to explore, visit bars/restaurants and it's 20 mins to Albufeira.

“ What a gem! A small modern boutique hotel in a quiet, residential location, attracting mainly couples seeking quality time together. There is a lovely spa with free use of the gym, saunas and jacuzzi. Would recommend the rooms overlooking the pool area, where there are ample, comfortable sunbeds. Pool towels are available at reception and these are free, as is the use of the safety deposit box in each room. The hotel's restaurant is excellent and the service is exceptional. There are a couple of restaurants situated on the nearby beach and Albufeira is only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. Spent a very relaxing week at Vila Gale Praia and hope to make a return visit in the near future.

“ beautiful hotel and excellent staff. Far from any night life if its only a pub with some enteriment. very close to beech. but as i went on a quite hoilday it was perfect.

We were very impressed with the Hotel, the rooms are modern, spacious and well furnished, try and get a pool view room some of which also have good sea views.
The staff were welcoming, courteous and always helpful, breakfast was excellent but we were there in February when breakfast was from the menu rather than buffet style which is the norm when more than 12 guests are staying.
The Hotel is well located, Gale beach is a short walk away where you will find two very good beach restaurants. There are also a number of good restaurants a short drive away and the hotel staff are happy to organise taxis if you require.
The spa facilities were modern, clean and well equipped, we did use the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna but we didn't try any of the chargeable treatments so are unable to comment.
All in all a very good experience.

Top Tip:
Try the boardwalk through the nature reserve near Salgados, see flamingos and herons, then walk across the dunes and back along the beach to the car park.
For local restaurants try Museu dos Salgados or Sao Domingos, there are also some good restaurants in Guia (a town nearby) try the Atlantico restaurant or if you want an authentic piri-piri experience try Ramires or Teodosio.
