“ Big one bed appartment ideal for couples and families with small children. We went self catering and there is a big new supermarket within easy reach. These appartments are quite a way from the beach. There was a curtesy bus last year that took you to the beach but it was not available this time, although there is a local service bus that seems to run quite regular that stops near to the Brisamar. Over all a very clean and pleasant location.

“ Top Tip: Some very nice restaurants in the village of Alvor esspecially the fish esablishments down on the front.

“ Hotel was suitable for ourselves as we are quite fit and healthy but was quite a long walk from the town centre which was not a problem for us but would be for people not as fit.
The hotel itself was comfortable and the bars and restaurant very good with very good service.

Plenty of sunbeds although a few more umbrella's for sitting in the shade would probably be helpful.

“ Top Tip: The Capacho restaurant in the town was excellent as was the bouganvilla restaurant.

“ The Appartments are excellent in size, plenty of space and in good condition. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. There is a 75euro deposit charged on arrival but you do get it back the day before you leave providing there is no damage. The complex is suitable for all ages who are looking to relax, enjoy quality food and drink and mix with the local people at the many restaurants and bars. Not suitable for anyone looking to 'party all night, sleep all day.' It is within walking distance of the main center of Alvor. The Beach is roughly a 15 minute walk away depending how fast you walk! However it is a lovely walk and once you get to the beach it's well worth it! My fiance and I absolutely love Alvor and the Brisamar for that matter. It has been our second visit this year and next year will be our 3rd - for our wedding!

“ Top Tip: Beach - The whole beach is beautiful no matter what spot you decide to pick, but do take the time to check out the rocks at the end of the beach, there are plenty of hidden coves and beautiful photograph opportunities - heaven.
Restaurant - The alota. Seafood restaurant. Perfect food. Outstanding service. Romantic and relaxed ambience. Could easily just stay there all night, and did do on occasion!
Bar - Borala Bar. Live music every night, always very entertaining and great atmosphere. Bluff Band are definately ones to watch with amazing guitar battles between Rui and Alex that would make even Slash blush, and amazing vocals from claudio! The staff get you involved very well too, always smiling and sociable. We loved it!

“ We stayed in a one bed apartment, which was quite large and very well equiped. It was very good for the money we paid. The beach at Alvor is lovely with a good selection of restaurants, although a car would be recommended as they are quite a long walk from the complex and having hired a car, we were able to visit many places along the Algarve coast. I would definitely return to these apartments and the area of Alvor.
