Holiday Inn Algarve

“ Friendly staff.
Cooked breakfasts not particularly good. Dining room coffee poor.
Need to watch out for chairs in Reception area, as they have metal legs which splay out, and I caught my toe on one of them, fracturing it. This did not help my enjoyment of the holiday! Plus additional cost.
Cleaning was of good standard.
Lovely location against the beach.

“ Top Tip: two good restaurants close by: One called Busiris; the other is Bellissima.
In Silves, visit Cafe des Ingles.

“ This hotel is gorgeous, excellent location on a beautiful beach and close to many local restaurants, very low key and peaceful area so may not suit anyone looking for a lively holiday. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Hotel staff very pleasant and rooms are very clean and spacious. Sea view is second to none.

“ Top Tip: Porters restaurant worth a visit, 3 course dinner with wine and coffee for 10 euros, excellent food and great value, lovely owners.

“ This was a short break in early May. Decided on B&B only which was fine as breakfast was buffet style with the usual mixture of cooked and continental.
The Hotel room was small but adequate. It was in the original part of the Hotel with a very small balcony. Upgrades were available but since the weather is better than UK ,you don't spend much time in your room!
Plenty of choice of eateries all around 10-15 Euros for the Tourist menu(including wine).
Hotel location was excellent ,practically on the beach with a sunny pool area.
Staff were all friendly.

“ Top Tip: Beware walking along the beach to Gale-- you can get stuck on the wrong side due to the tide flowing back into the salt flats..its a long walk back unless you check for low tide times.
