“ Immaculately clean. Very good and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Dinner was sometimes lacking a central feature but was adequate. Some English newspapers available from 10. 30 a.m. Entertainment in the Windsor Bar even in April. Some outdoor activities including French bowls and a shuffleboard type game helped to integrate the guests. Reception will make calls for Taxis and print bus timetables as well as providing a useful local map. Lots of loungers around the pool area.

I would recommend that each room should have a tea or coffee making facility

“ Top Tip: An English pub called The Water Dog is quite close and does snacks as well as having Guinness and a good range of other drinks including nice cups of tea. It also has Sky TV football featuring Premiership teams. It has fish and chips on a friday and a sunday roast meal.
When travelling to large supermarkets it may be cheaper to travel by taxi rather than by bus. Do visit a good fish restaurant, great quality terrific choice and reasonable price. Cigarette prices in a local store were exactly the same as duty free in Faro Airport.

“ Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable with good food and drinks and very helpful and friendly staff.

“ We have stayed in this hotel once before 6 years ago and it was still as clean and friendly as last time. The public areas and the rooms are all well kept and look new.Maid service was great and we had bedding changed twice in the week we were there and fresh towels every day. There is an indoor pool area and jacuzzi which didn't use but is great for children if the weather is bad. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the nearest restaurants and 15-20 to most. We were b&b but most guests were on AI which I can't comment on, but people around the hotel seemed pretty happyThis is a nice resort but it is quiet. The beach is great soft sand and gentle slope in to the sea. We would stay at the hotel again.

“ Good quality hotel , plenty of activities, parking nearby, first class breakfast, best machine made cappachino ever, staff all very pleasant, sited at the edge of town but still an easy walk to beach , bars and restaurants. Armacao possibly nicest town on the Algarve. Only one small complaint about the hotel was some shakey bath fittings.

“ Top Tip: Go to Davi restaurant in old part of town for a terrific fish Cataplana---25.50 euros for 2 people
