Built in 2001, this club resort includes a total of 70 studios/ apartments, throughout a number of 2-storey buildings, and features a foyer with 24-hour reception desk during summer, a hire safe, a currency exchange desk, a cafe, a small supermarket, a car park, a playground, a public Internet terminal and a bicycle hire service. The air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants invites guests to stop off and indulge in some top cuisine.This apartment complex is located in the centre of Praia de Carvoeiro, within 1.5 km of links to the public transport system and 2 km to the nearest beach. Shopping venues, restaurants, bars, pubs and a nightclub lie some 5 km away.The tiled studios and apartments come with a bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette, a fridge, a hire safe and a combined living/ bedroom. Each of the apartments additionally comes with a separate bedroom.In the well-kept outdoor complex there is a swimming pool, a snack bar, sun loungers and parasols (additional fees apply). It is possible to play tennis, table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, billiards, minigolf and golf (course lies 2 km away). It is also possible to join in the aerobics sessions and there is a seasonal entertainment programme.Take the A22 motorway towards Portimeo. Exit the motorway sign posted Silves/Lagoa and follow signs for Lagoa sul. Join the EN125 and continue along the road until you find a trafic lights and two gas stations, one in each side of the road. At the trafic lights turn right towards Carvoeiro. At the 1st roundabout take the 1st exit on the right in the direction of Sesmarias. After 1,5 Km ahead you will reach to another roudabout and you continue ahead in direction of Sesmarias again. Follow the road along until you pass a water tower on the left and after you will see a small roudabout, continue ahead in direction of Ferragudo. After 800 meters ahead you will find Colina da Lapa on your right.

Second visit to Colina Da Lapa found it to be an excellent place to stay, large comfortable apartments and everywhere on site kept in a spotless condition.
Please Please new sunbeds for relaxing my back is in bits.
Other than the beds i would have no hesitation in returning here.

“ immaculate complex, appartments are very spacious and kept very clean, the grounds are also very well maintained. Nice swimming pool and fairly basic but adequate restaurant. Not much around complex so car is handy.
“ Top Tip: we found the island cafe, next to the complex, to have superb food.

First class accommodation and beautifully kept grounds etc, good for a quiet holiday. We went out of season and only for 3 nights, so apart from the restaurant on site there were only 3 others within walking distance, of which 2 were pizzerias, which were good, but if you did not like Italian there was not much choice. We would not liked to have stayed any longer at that time of year, end Sept/Oct.
From our apartment we had a great view of Portimao.
“ Top Tip: A car is needed. Plenty of restaurants in Carveiro, only 10 mins in the car.

We have previously visited Carvoeiro and so knew that these apartments were a little bit out of town and we had hired a car from the airport. I would recommend this to be the best option when staying out at Colina du Lapa.
It is a lovely resort with a residential feel to it, very spacious & well designed. We were upgraded to a 2 bed duplex, this was lovely although probably due a lick of paint and a bit of refreshing.
There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance, but Carvoeiro is a cab ride away (7 euros approx.)

The Vila Gale Nautico is located only a few metres away from the beach of Armacao de Pera and 1 km from the town centre. All the 233 bedrooms are spacious, well equipped and decorated with a nautical theme. There is also a restaurant and bar area providing an excellent range of cuisine. Leisure facilities include both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and a gym.
“ We went out of season and the hotel was quite quiet. It was however absolutely superb. Food was fantastic, staff couldn't have been any more helpful or friendly, all inclusive package is excellent, hotel really clean. One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a beach holiday.

Built in 2004, this resort comprises a total of 66 apartments or townhouses set in 6 blocks. The 44 three-bedroom apartments and 22 two and three-bedroom townhouses are set in beautifully landscaped gardens around a large outdoor pool. All accommodation is elegantly furnished with fully fitted kitchens, private balconies, underground parking and satellite TV. The resort has its own restaurant and a children's playground.

Hotel Mirachoro Praia offers comfortable accommodation and a good range of facilities. Situated in the charming local fishing village of Carvoeiro, the hotel is approximately 600 metres from the beach and in the centre of the resort with its selection of bars, cafes and restaurants.
