“ Comfortable hotel with attractive pool area. Of particular benefit is close proximity to the town beach and all the bars and restaurants Carvoeiro has to offer. Bus stop close to hotel for travel further afield.

“ Top Tip: Recommend Ele & Ela Restaurant in the town centre for a special meal. The neighbouring restaurants to the hotel all offer good value.

“ We have now been to this hotel three times and each time is as good as the last. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are not large but are comfortable and the showers are powerful and hot! Breakfasts are the same everyday but there is enough choice to allow variation although it is better to go down early to make sure it is really hot. It is good value for money.

“ Top Tip: Maxim's retaurant is fantastic! All the restaurants are good and are not expensive but Maxim's was extra special, although it did cost more than others.

“ Have stayed at this hotel four times and the rooms are always spotless, and staff very friendly and helpfull.
The Hotel is situated in an ideal place for shops and restaurants and is good value for money.

“ Our second visit to the Mirachoro Praia Hotel and despite having picked probably one of the worst weather 'windows' the locals had experienced in recent times, we managed to entertain ourselves satisfactorily for our 10 day stay.

Bedroom sizes are generous, soundproofing, so-so! The hotel's location on a bus route, is towards the top of a hill on the edge of town,and we were on the 2nd floor (right of picture), overlooking the pool/patio area, which also afforded sea views (which we found very useful for watching the rain roll in off the sea!)

Daily maid service was fine, as was the standard of breakfast (continental, 'coco-pops' through to full English). The lounge is comfortable, if a little garish, and the large Reception, again somewhat bright in tone, was serviced by delightful hotel staff.

The hotel's car park situated at the front, is huge, and immediately outside, the road down into Carvoeiro is lined with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel is ideally suited for those requiring proximity to resort facilities as well as those with more adventurous trips, pastimes or golf in mind.
