“ a little gem of a place. spotlessly clean and five star service.

“ Top Tip: not recommended for the 'night life' crowd but def. for the rest and relaxation

“ In a very good location close to everything without having to climb a hill.
It has just been spruced up a bit new paint etc.
Very quiet in April. sunbeds a plenty.
Difficult decision weather to go for the ground floor which has a covered patio area or the first floor which may have better views but if it rains you can't go out on the balcony or if its too hot no shade (with the exception of the most expensive rooms).
Breakfast ok by Portuguese standards could be warmer.

We paid around £33 a night bed breakfast so good value.

“ Top Tip: I personally would go for the ground floor patio rooms if given a choice.
We actually found the Galley the best restaurant as we smoke and could eat outside on their balcony shaded from the wind

“ Good hotel - especially for B&B stay - lots of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. Good drives and walks to isolated, quiet and wonderful beaches.

“ Top Tip: Good restaurants in Praia do Luz include. The Dolphin, Fortelza and Chicca's (especially the latter).

“ Stayed out of season so very quiet. The room was excellent and very clean. Hotel facilities were excellent but not all in operation e.g. sauna, steam bath. This was probably down to the season. Street light through room door window was a little annoying at night. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent in the choice it provided but the hot food had gone luke warm after a while. Very close to magnificent beach and cliffs and pleasant small town of Luz.

“ Top Tip: Fantastic walk from Luz to Lagos along the cliff tops. Takes a while and the path takes a little bit of finding in places but the scenery was well worth it. Caught the local bus back to Luz from the bus station in Lagos.
