Guests are offered stunning interiors, fittings and services of the highest standard. Guests are welcomed in an inviting entrance hall with a 24-hour reception, a lift, a currency exchange counter and safes. Facilities include a games room, a bicycle cellar and a cosy bar In addition, a laundry service is also offered and parking is available outside the hotel.This attractive hotel lies directly by a fine sand beach in the beautiful resort Porches. The immediate vicinity offers guests restaurants, bars, shops and a bus stop. The town centre is about 2.5 km away, whilst the closest airport is some 44 km from the hotel.All the rooms are modern and tastefully designed. They all comprise a spacious bathroom with a bath, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning (centrally regulated) and a hire safe. Excellent value for money, the Portuguese version of a travelodge, ensuite room with twin beds and a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Continental breakfast - simple but again fits in with the simplicity of the place. The hotel has no other facilities and is only staffed during office hours.
It suited a 2 night break very well but could be lacking for longer stays.

“ Very nice hotel - simple and friendly. Near to a large development, but the view in front of it was good, nice open space with the sea crashing beyond.
“ Top Tip: Pleasant restaurant right next to the hotel, with a small bar. Good value.

“ There is a cold, impersonal reception from this hotel, which is looking very tired now. Booked us into the wrong room and blamed travel republic (they did this on another occasion also) we were also locked out of our room, (it must of been our mobile phone - which we didn't have) On neither occasion did we receive the remotest hint of an apology.

“ THE HOTEL WAS FREEZING THROUOUT AS THERE WASNT ANY HEATING ON IN THE WHOLE HOTEL.WE WERE GIVEN A SMALL HEATER IN OUR ROOM .IT TOOK 2 DAYS TO WARM THE ROOM UP WITH THE HEATER ON ALL DAY AND NIGHT .THE ROOM HADNT BEEN AIRED AND SMELT DAMP.

The Vila Recife is situated in the entrance of the lovely centre of Albufeira, surrounded by a beautiful gardens with palm trees. A great selection of bars, restaurants and shops are just few minutes away. The beach is also a short walkway, down some steps. All of the 92 bedrooms of the hotel are equipped with telephone and TV. The reception is open 24 hours a day. You will also find other facilities like a breakfast room, a satellite TV lounge and a bar with snacks.
“ We stayed here in October and only paid 260 pounds for two for a week, the hotel was excellent, great location five minutes walk into the centre. Breakfast was continetal but still enjoyable. Hotel was great as it didnt have many children in and floor 4 and 5 also have roof terraces which have a excellent view of the town,
